New face is a long term activity of Nuts, and it had been held successfully for 17 times so far. Many remarkable local new musicians/bands had been known and accepted by the fans through this event.

In the past years, Nuts was thinking about how to promote

local indie music. Well, the wisdom path is the stupid path either, supporting indie musicians. The condition is you are top-notch player and dare to show it.

2017，New Face引入比赛排名制度

通过演出选拔的形式

让我们发现优秀青年音乐人

并给予优秀青年音乐人正确引导及支持

包括物质奖励、签约、推广等

以激励重庆独立音乐市场良性发展

开拓本土原创音乐受众群体

In 2017, New face introduced game ranking system, base on the selection of performances, we will find outstanding young musicians, and provide excellent young musicians proper guide and support, including material incentives, signing, promotion and so on. We are aiming to motivate the development of local indie music market in healthy way, and open up local original music audiences’ horizon.

不管你是音乐团体或个人，不管你是民谣、嘻哈、朋克、独立还是金属、爵士，不管你是电子还是三大件...只要你有原创音乐，你就有机会站到坚果的舞台上。

No matter you are in group or just on your own. No matter what you are playing, folk、hiphop or punk, indie or metal、jazz, no matter electronics or OS rock... As long as you got your original music, you have the chance to account for this stage! One more for sure, if you are good enough, we will make every effort to provide you with a larger stage!

比赛规则 Rules

1、每季在报名者中精心筛选3-4组参赛音乐人（包括乐队或个人）。

2、本比赛以年度为单位，每三个月举办一季，第四季为年度冠军决赛。

3、每季评选一支季度冠军，入选第四季年度冠军决赛资格。

4、如季度冠军无法参演年度冠军比赛，视为自动弃权。当季第二名则获决赛参赛资格，以此类推。

5、季度冠军、年度冠军除物质奖励外（奖金、奖品等），更会获得坚果一系列扶持计划（宣传、签约、录音、大型活动演出机会等）。

6、演出酬劳根据当日票房及门票支持率进行结算。

1.Select 3-4 teams (group and individual) from each season.

2.This competition is held annually, three month a season, the fourth season is the championship game.

3.Top one of each season enrolled the championship game.

4.If the seasonal champion cannot attend in the annual championship game, as a waiver, the second place will be eligible for the final, and so on.

5.Seasonal champion, annual champion in addition to material incentives (bonuses, prize, etc), they will get a series of promote programs(promotion, signing, recording, large-scale performance and etc).

6.The performance payment according to the box office and tickets support rates of the day.

参赛要求 Requirements

1、资格——觉得自己（乐队）是新人（新乐队）。

2、设备——坚果Live House场地提供乐器音箱、爵士鼓及舞台扩音设备。参赛选手根据风格自备吉他、贝司、效果器、合成器等，如有特殊要求，请提前报知坚果Live House或自行解决。

3、作品——原创歌曲或乐曲、改编歌曲或乐曲，风格不限，鼓励原创。允许翻唱改编，不超过1首。必须有原创。

4、时长——每组音乐人比赛曲目总时长20-30分钟。

1.You think you (your group) are new.

2.Nuts Live house provides speakers, jazz drums and stage sound equipments, the players according to their style to prepare their own guitar, bass, effects, synthesizers and etc. if there any special requirements, please inform Nuts in advance or solve it their own.

3.Original songs or music, adapted songs or music, no limitation on style but encourage the original. Only one adapted songpermitted, and original piece required. 

4.Show time for each team (group or individual) is about 20-30 mins.

How to sign up for this

网络报名：点击文末阅读原文下载比赛报名电子表并详细填写后以E-mail的方式，标题请设置成”坚果New Face（名称 / 日期）”发送到邮箱：[e-mail] 并在附件包含宣传照或演出照以及至少一首原创DEMO试听（录音、视频皆可。可以使用手机录音，要求完整清晰）。

如果本季没有你或你的乐队，别灰心，有可能被安排到三个月后的下一季了，请抓紧练习。

Online: click the hyperlink read all download the registration form and fill it out,send it to [e-mail] via email (title format is ‘Nuts New Face name/date’) and please attach your photo and at least one demo (recording, video, even cell-phone recording, but please make it clear enough to identify).

If you are not in this season, don’t be discouraged, you could be arranged in the next season, keep practice.

We understand that there are no common standards for music, the purpose of this game is not to separate the win and lose.We just want to let more and more people knowing about our excellent young musicians in Chongqing by this way.
