中国欧盟商会主席和秘书长应邀参加中国贸促会建会70周年大会

5月18日和19日，中国欧盟商会主席伍德克、秘书长唐亚东应邀现场出席在北京举行的中国国际贸易促进委员会（贸促会）建会70周年大会。

伍德克主席在会上发言时强调，鉴于新冠疫情给全行业带来的前所未有的影响，加速深化市场开放对重振中国经济具有至关重要的作用。伍德克主席就新冠疫情防控政策提出建议，从而在采取有效措施、尽可能降低疫情给人民安全健康造成风险的同时，帮助中国继续打开国门。

伍德克主席向中国贸促会会长任鸿斌呈递了中国欧盟商会近期发布的《中国新冠疫情防控政策和俄乌战争对欧洲在华企业的影响》和即将发布的关于碳中和的报告。

Chamber President and Secretary General Attend CCPIT 70th Anniversary Conference

On 18th and 19th May, European Chamber President Joerg Wuttke and Secretary General Adam Dunnett attended the 70th anniversary conference of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Beijing. 

In a speech delivered during a panel session, president Wuttke stressed that, given the unprecedented negative impact that COVID is having across all industries, faster and deeper market opening will be essential to revitalise China’s flagging economy. President also made recommendations on the COVID-19 containment measures to help China minimalise the health risks posed by the pandemic while opening further.

President Wuttke also presented the Chamber’s flash survey on the impact that COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine is having on European business, as well as the forthcoming carbon neutrality report, to President Ren Hongbin of the CCPIT.
