Dean Position opening in School of Chemistry & Materials, NUIST

To accelerate the construction of world first-class discipline and Jiangsu high-level universities, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) established the School of Chemistry and Materials and invited Professor Huang Wei, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Executive Vice President of Northwestern Polytechnical University, to be the Honorary Dean of the School.

Starting in the 1990s, the discipline of Chemistry & Materials in NUSIT has a complete education system with bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs. Currently, there are two doctoral programs in Environmental Chemistry and Solid State Electronics. By sticking to internationalization, relying on elites and focusing on engineering, the School intends to make itself a research-oriented institute with advanced platforms, excellent research teams and wide international cooperation with research foci on Photoelectric Information Materials, Advanced Energy Materials and Green Environmental Materials.

NUIST now is looking for a qualified scholar from home and abroad to be the Dean of the School. Relevant information is listed as follows:

Materials science and engineering, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering and technology, or other related disciplines.

Requirements, salary and welfare

  Requirements

（1） Be in good health, diligent, with global horizon, far-sighted;

（2） Younger than 50 years old with some tolerance for excellent applicants; the first employment term is 4 years in full-time.

Salary and Welfare

Salary is negotiable. NUIST will provide housing and good research conditions and will help coordinate affairs of family members.
