For me it is important that we not only focus on the building itself, but also keep the complete surroundings in perspective – keeping the interstitial spaces between architecture in mind. As a second issue it is important that we design rooms with materials appropriate for its use. This means that it is very well the responsibility of the architect which material he uses, in order to contribute to a sustainable, future-orientated, global development. And as a third aspect, the thought of recycling is very important for me. Because building something always means real stress for the environment, it is crucial for me to think of how the building can be adapted, returning building material back to the environment or how we can build something new from it.□
