Temple九周年，久等180天，举杯同庆！
这里是二环里的北京，夜幕降临，沉睡的城市开始苏醒，鼓楼大街渐入晕境，206号牌楼里的Temple，即将奏响城市声色里的笙歌。
这是今年鼓楼地区最重要的一次集体入夏。
鼓楼东大街206号牌楼，是音乐与美酒锤炼而成的路牌。
This year’s been hard on all of us, and Temple’s biggest regret of 2020 is being unable to be there for you guys to help carry the weight as we had done in the last 9 years.
千禧年伊始，中国最早一批Livehouse诞生在北京鼓楼地区。
2004年，愚公移山移至段祺瑞执政府旧址；2005年，老疆进酒诞生在钟库胡同；2007年，MAO诞生于鼓楼东大街。
随着这些极具代表性的Livehouse蓬勃发展，鼓楼成为北京地下音乐的活跃地带，见证了无数音乐人的成长足迹，甚至上升为音乐文化符号，有外媒将其评为“北京布鲁克林”。
For reasons beyond our control, we’ve stayed quiet since February. Call it a period of hibernation if you will. But we are back in business and at the end of this month we will be celebrating its 9th anniversary louder than ever!
2011年7月，同在北京鼓楼，诞生了一家不同于其他Livehouse的酒吧：Temple Bar坛酒吧。
这里的演出免票，只需任意消费一杯酒，就能派对到天亮。这里有平价精酿，也有优雅觥筹的鸡尾酒。这里有乐队演出，也有脱口秀表演、独立电影展映。
在这里，你可以偶遇职业演员、艺术家、音乐人，也能见到快递员、白发老人，甚至城市拾荒者，畅快地度过属于他们的周末。
At the end of this month, on July 31st and August 1st, Temple will be celebrating its 9th anniversary! That’s right folks, we are closing in on a decade of drunken merriment and the celebration of that good ol’ devil music!
Temple楼下的院子，并不会比曼哈顿大桥下更酷。但如果你选择在这里Coleman Slide，受欢迎程度绝不亚于任何一位摇滚明星。
作为鼓楼“市中心音乐文化”的交互平台，和北京较早创造“派对文化”的音乐现场，Temple真诚而好奇地接待、友善而敏感地保护着每一位来客。
Temple品牌自创立至今9年，举办LIVE现场总计逾1800+场，有近2000支来自世界各国的乐队登上Temple的舞台，也因此蝉联《TIME OUT北京》评选的“年度最佳音乐现场” 。
与多国使馆合作，逐渐成为了海外乐队进入中国独立音乐市场的重要平台，和北京独立⾳乐行业极为重要的⾳乐地标。
很多中国乐队在国内还未被广为熟知时，就已登上过Temple舞台，直至在国际舞台声名鹊起。

2020年伊始，一场席卷全球的疫情，以始料未及的程度改变了所有人的生活轨迹。
1月26日，Temple对外宣布暂缓营业、齐心抗疫。嘴上说着“赋闲养膘，开门再躁”，谁成想这一关就是近6个月，面对零收入，心态也从泰然处之转为百爪挠心。6个月的运营成本，着实是一记闷棍，空空如也的钱包将如何去填补高耸的成本支出……
在关店的这段时期，经常会接到来电：
“我在Temple外面，你们营业了么？”
彼时会一时语塞，因为知道通往快乐时光的路一时还看不到入口。
但需要坚持，为的就是这一刻，开>门>迎接你。
上次见面还是三九，如今早已入伏。
记得期间为数不多的几次出门，曾经喧嚣的鼓楼东大街，除了路灯的光亮，道路两旁黢黑一片几乎见不到人。疫情给鼓楼地区所有文化娱乐行业，都带来了致命一击。鼓楼的文化地标，正伴随着一家接一家入不敷出的店铺无限期打烊、停业，日渐没落。
