Still hard at work even during the dog days of summer, this month, Jason gets inspiration from their most popular dish – Green Pepper Ribeye - to bring us Green Pepper Steak Pizza (88RMB). There’s also a new dish of British Meatballs (68RMB) and we try the Mini Burgers (98RMB) and Smoky Linguine (78RMB) from the existing menu.

▲ Green Pepper Steak Pizza

The Green Pepper Steak Pizza comes with big chucks of the same tender, flavourful ribeye and there’s a little smearing of the creamy green peppercorn sauce on the pizza and a drizzle of BBQ sauce also.

▲ Mini Burger

Since we liked the Spicy Mexican Mini Burgers so much last month, we decided to ask for their regular Mini Burger which is also a top seller. Instead of minced beef, the burgers have slices of filet steaks. Caviar and truffles ups the luxe factor and the sauce is a tangy spread of feta cheese and balsamic vinegar.

▲ British Meatballs

The British Meatballs are stuffed with cheddar cheese and served with roasted garlic and pearl onions. They come in an appetizer size portion.

▲ Smoky Linguine

The Smoky Linguine certainly gives you a generous serving of smoked salmon. When the plate arrived there was so much smoked salmon on top you can barely see the pasta underneath!

Staying true to the British concept of the restaurant, Jason’s Library offered us scones for dessert, served with strawberry ice cream and jam.

Jason’s Library is located in the same complex where Charcoal is. From the entrance to the parking lot, walk towards the right and you’ll see the library. The attendant will open the secret bookshelf for you to slip into the restaurant.
