窦王岭
Douwangling (Douwang Ridge), located in the east of middle Taihang Mountains, is in Jingxing County of Shijiazhuang City. It is named as Douwangling because peasant uprising hero Dou Jiande in the late Sui Dynasty once led a battle and lived in this ridge.
窦王岭位于太行山中段东侧石家庄市井陉县境内，因隋末农民起义英雄窦建德曾率兵在此战斗与生活而得名。
There is a variety of historical remains related to the legends about Dou Jiande, which can be verified by others’ existence. Within the area less than 20 square kilometers, there are capital city, mountain fastnesses, barracks, covered shelters, and grain storage. Even the place of being killed, the tombs of Dou Jiande and his concubines, the ancestral temple and other four temples are remained.
窦建德传说遗迹非常集中，并成龙配套。在方圆不到20公里范围内，有都城，有山寨，有兵营，有藏兵洞，有囤粮地，有遇难地，有王墓，有妃子墓，有窦王祠，有寺庙4处。

窦王是谁？
窦建德（573年－621年8月3日），中国隋末民变军领袖之一。 窦建德世代务农，曾担任里长，“重然许，喜侠节”。因协助孙安祖起义，被迫投靠高鸡泊起义军领袖高士达。 隋大业十三年正月，在乐寿称长乐王，年号丁丑，积极扩张领地。隋炀帝命涿郡留守薛世雄率三万支援东都洛阳，行至在河间为建德之军所偷袭，全军覆没。河北大部郡县皆受窦建德统治。 武德四年，决定性的虎牢之战建德败于李世民之手，被俘后遭斩首于长安。
