重要通知
根据北京市教委要求，君诚学校2020年春季延期开学，具体开学时间将根据疫情防控情况，经科学评估后确定。开学时间一经确定，将提前向社会公布，敬请留意君诚官方公众号通知。
考虑到北京实行外地返京人员14天居家隔离政策，建议目前在外地的走读生、北京有居所的寄宿生及陪同家长，近期安排返程以便在开学前完成隔离。

“疫情无情，君诚大社区有情！每天我都能听到家长们的声音，看到家长们的只言片语，我们的目标是一致的：战胜疫情，携手共度难关！不断努力把孩子们学习上的损失减少到最低。待疫情过后，学校会利用一切时间，争分夺秒地完成教学工作，保障教学质量，让孩子们学有所获。”
This Spring Festival is a special one for Mark, the foreign principal of the elementary school. Upon receiving the notification that stop class but do not stop learning , Mark immediately organized all the foreign teachers who has been stayed in Beijing, research, deploy, and perform online teaching plan, and discussed the problems reflected by parents overnight then decided that teacher Tim will lead other teachers to optimize English classes and record the teaching video for the convenience for students to learn at any time and protect students' eyesight. In the seventh grade, Principal Paul of the middle school also responded quickly to the feedback. He immediately made a video recording demonstration for the foreign teachers, and unified PPT plus recording to produce video and other standardized teaching methods.
In "a letter from President Zhang aijun to the community of SIBS", President Zhang also wrote movingly:
"At this particular time, the school leadership team has been able to overcome a variety of challenges to continually optimize online teaching. I understand parents' anxiety and worry. I am very grateful to the parents for their great efforts to cooperate with the school in carrying out online education."
"The epidemic is heartless, but SIBS this big community is full of love! Every day I can hear their voices, I see their words, and our goal is the same: to overcome this epidemic, to work together through this difficult time."
Mark also specially organized the foreign teachers to record the video "go for Wuhan, go for China" for the students, showing the good will of international friends, encouraging students to do self-protection, to overcome the epidemic!

网络教学和家校沟通机制受到家长好评
Virtual school and home-school communication mechanism received positive feedbacks from parents
与其他国际学校一样，君诚也是首次在全校范围内大规模实行网络教学，自然也有这样那样的问题。但君诚由校长牵头、学科负责人领头，积极回应家长们的反馈，解决他们的疑虑，给了家长们莫大的安慰和信心。为此，君诚一年级和七年级家长还一起写了一封联名信，感谢学校和老师：
“今天早上，太阳升起的时候，一年级的班级中开始陆续收到班主任所录制的视频，孩子们听到了久违的老师的声音欢呼雀跃起来，七年级的课程布置得到了改善，E-lab有了学习内容，教材也拿到了清晰的电子版，下午我们收到了张校长和 Mark 校长的亲笔回信，言辞恳切，措施明确，我们的心一下子变得温暖得足以融化外面的积雪。
学校在 24 小时之内给予的快速反应，让我们看到了一个扁平、便捷、民主、高效的家校沟通机制，让我们看到了君诚制学的与众不同，加深了我们作为君诚家长的荣耀，坚定了在君诚学有所成的信念！”
Like other international schools, SIBS is also the first time to implement network teaching on a large scale in the whole school, so we did met a variety of problems. The school's immediate response within 24 hours, let us see a flat, convenient, democratic, efficient home-school communication mechanism, let us see the difference of SIBS's system, deepen our honor as SIBS parents, firm the belief learning in SIBS!

In order to help teachers better overcome the teaching period under the epidemic, SIBS organized teachers to participate in the online workshop organized by ADE, which became a special online teaching sharing meeting of "Stop class but do not stop teaching and researching". During the meeting, teachers actively shared their teaching experience, teaching tools and using skills during the epidemic, and jointly explored the way of online education.

特殊时期如何做好升学规划How to make a good College Prep during this specialperiod

Second, another advantage of the TOEFL IBT test is the availability to view scores online about six days after taking the test.
