初始入幻象,踏艺术之舟,一起经历四时的流转更迭,体味四季之美、变幻之美、刹那之美、日常之美;

BEING: It Comes Naturally
Valerie Wang, Conghui

A long time ago, reading a “painting” usually took place under a tree, by a river, or in a field, the place where the painting was created, that is, in nature.
That “painting” is a freeze frame of the ever-changing nature, captured and portrayed by those who can feel her and cherish her. Later, the painting was moved indoors - into a box called “art museum”- and hung on the wall. Thereupon, everyone stays indoors to appreciate the scenery of nature, speculating on how artists could create such beautiful scenes, marveling at what kind of genius could create such light and shadow, such enchanting colors. People take pictures and videos with smartphones, then share them on social media; children make imitation copies of masterpieces, imitating those strokes and patterns; docents tell stories behind artworks… So preoccupied with studying for art that we may forget to look out of the window - the ever-changing colors of the clouds at dusk, the beautiful curves that breeze-rippling twigs draw in the sky, and the sweet scent of flowers wafting in the air. After all, it is in this real and unpredictable nature that art is born. Only beings in unity with nature at that moment can catch the unexpected inspirations, then integrate heart and action to create the perfect work. At that point, they are the true artists.
Stepping into ZHI ART MUSEUM, an art museum immersed in nature, we invite you to enter a space where art and nature intertwine. To enter the world of art is to enter the image of fantasy. Together we experience the flow of time, the beauty of four seasons, of constant changes, the charm of being in a split second, of everyday lives. Return to nature, return to childlike innocence, we listen to the whisper and murmur of insects and birds, watch clouds roll in and out; with a natural mind, we live in the present and meet ourselves.
The origin of the exhibition "BEING” is just as the title reveals: it comes naturally.
With passion and persistence in discovery, ZHI ART MUSEUM has built an enriching art collection in the context of Eastern aesthetics. Each of the artists we have researched and explored is a pearl, it's time to string them together mindfully from a perspective of continuous rejuvenation of Eastern art, and present a collection of dazzling treasures. More significantly, this exhibition is expected to lead art lovers to appreciate the beauty, pleasure, transience of life, and the interconnectedness of universality. Naturally, art unlocks our inner wisdom and rewards us with a true self.
Since then, going to ZHI ART MUSEUM is the way home.
