大悲寺石刻

大悲寺始建于明永乐年间，位于西南丝绸之路上，为古代成都、邛州西去百丈、名山、雅安的必经之地。现存石塔一座，塔基六边形，塔身分三级，雕刻精美二十四孝故事。2005年于莲池内出土了大量明代石刻，包括佛头、菩萨、罗汉等。雕刻精细，造型优美，2005年12月，蒲江县人民政府公布为县级文物保护单位。

Stone Carving of the Temple of Great Mercy
The Temple of Great Mercy was built duringthe reign of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424). It was located onthe Southwest Silk Road, and was a vital link from Chengdu or Qiongzhou towestern Baizhang, Mingshan and Ya’an.Today, itremains a stone pagoda, with hexagonalfoundation, three-storied body, and delicate carvings themed by legendarystories about 24 filial sons and daughters in Chinese history on it. And in2005, many valued stone carvings of the Ming Dynasty were unearthed in theLotus Pond, covering closeup of Buddha, bodhisattva, arhat. They are all inelegant posture with fine details. And the Temple of Great Mercywas listed intocounty-level protected cultural relics by Pujiang CountyPeople'sGovernment inDecember 2005.
