ELIGIBILITY

申请资质

1. 持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民；2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国法律法规和学校规章制度；3. 身心健康，品学兼优；4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；5. 年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2023年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45 周岁。

a) Be non-Chinese citizens with valid passport;

b) Have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of SWUFE;

c) Be in good physical and mental health;

d) Be interested in Chinese language education and related work; 

e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2023. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45.

资助内容

国际中文教师奖学金资助内容包括：学费、在华学习期间校内住宿费、在华学习期间生活费（四周研修生除外）和来华综合医疗保险费。The scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, living allowance (excluding four-week study program students) and comprehensive medical insurance.

1. 国际中文教育专业硕士研究生：2023 年 9 月入学，资助期限为 2 年。具有大学本科学历，HSK（五级）210分、HSKK（中级）60 分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。2.一学年研修生：2023 年 9 月入学，资助期限为 11 个月。不录取享受过同类奖学金的申请者。国际中文教育方向：HSK（三级）270 分，具有 HSKK 成绩；汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向：HSK（四级）180 分、HSKK（中级）60 分；汉语研修方向： HSK（三级）210 分，提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。3.一学期研修生：2023 年 9 月、2024 年 3 月入学，资助期限为 5 个月。不录取护照上有 X1、X2 签证者。国际中文教育、汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向：HSK（三级）180 分，具有 HSKK 成绩；中医、太极文化方向：具有 HSK 成绩，同时提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。4.四周研修生：2023 年 7 月或 12 月入学，资助期限为 4 周。不录取护照上有 X1、X2 签证者。汉语研修、中医、太极文化、汉语言+中国家庭体验等方向：具有 HSK 成绩。可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系西南财经大学确定在华学习计划，提前报语合中心审批，每团10-15 人。

a) Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education

2 academic years, starts in September 2023Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum score of 210 on the HSK 5 and 60 on the HSKK (Intermediate Level). 

b) One-Year Study Program

11 months, starts in September 2023. International students who have benefited from similar scholarships are not eligible.For international Chinese language education, a minimum score of 270 on the HSK  3, and an HSKK test score is required. For Chinese language and literature , Chinese history, or Chinese philosophy, a minimum score of 180 on the HSK 4 and 60 on the HSKK (Intermediate Level). For Chinese language study, a minimum score of 210 on the HSK 3, and priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.

c) One-Semester Study Program

5 months, starts in September 2023 or March 2024. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible. For international Chinese language education, Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, or Chinese philosophy, a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.For traditional Chinese medicine or Taiji culture,  HSK test scores are required , and priority will be given to those who also provide an HSKK test score.

d) Four-Week Study Program

Starts either in July or December 2023. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible.For Chinese language study, traditional Chinese medicine, Taiji culture, or Chinese language plus homestay with a Chinese family, HSK test score are required. The program may be organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with the university and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval.

申请办法

1.请通过国际中文教师奖学金报名网站注册报名。

Please apply through the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship registration website.

2.报名时，请选择“国际中文教师奖学金”。

Please choose "International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship" during application.

3.请在线填写申请表，上传所需申请材料。

Fill in the application form and upload the application documents.

4.奖学金类别请根据相关要求选择四周研修生、一学期研修生、一学年研修生或者汉语国际教育专业硕士研究生，并选择“西南财经大学”作为第一学校。

For scholarship category, please choose Four-Week Study, One-Semeste Study , One-Year Study Program or MTCSOL based on the related requirements, and pick "Southwestern University of Finance and Economics" as the first choice.

5.推荐机构一般为孔子学院、使领馆和HSK考点，如果需要“西南财经大学”作为推荐机构，请扫描下方二维码填写信息，通过审核的申请者，可获得西南财经大学开具的推荐信。

申请材料

申请材料:1. 护照照片页扫描件。2. HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。3. 推荐机构负责人的推荐信。4. 在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。5. 未满 18 周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。6. 《外国人体格检查记录》。此表格须用中文或英文填写。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效。有效期为6个月。与学历生有关的证明材料:7. 提供最高学历证明（预毕业证明）和在校学习成绩单。8. 汉语国际教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授（含）以上职称导师的推荐信和一篇来华学习和研究计划（不少于800字）。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
注：在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，免提交汉语水平考试（HSK）证书。在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 “国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向西南财经大学提交申请材料。

For all applicants：

a) A scanned copy of the passport photo page;b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK/HSKK tests (within the two-year validity); c) A reference letter by the Recommending Institution.d) In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a reference letter from the employer.e) Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.f)The physical examination; Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.For degree program applicants：g) A certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;h) Applicants  for MTCSOL are required to provide two reference letters from professors or associate professors and a study plan or research proposal (at least 800 words ）. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China.
*In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK/HSKK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to SWUFE directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.
