走进杨圆圆作品中的华裔女性
余金巧
Coby Yee
生于1926年的余金巧（Coby Yee）经历了旧金山华埠夜总会年代，是紫禁城夜总会（Forbidden City Nightclub）的舞者与最后一任老板娘。Coby是家中生于美国的第一代，虽然从小对舞台情有独钟，但年少时走上职业艳舞的道路并非个人所愿。20多年前，退休后的Coby终于可以遵从自己的意愿，不再为生计与而表演。不久后，她在舞池遇到了比自己年轻近20岁、有着截然不同背景的伴侣史蒂芬（Stephen）。
Born in 1926, Coby Yee has experienced the age of nightclub in Chinatown of San Francisco. Coby was the dancer and the last owner of Forbidden City Nightclub. As the first generation of American-born children in her family, Coby didn't think of taking the professional go-go dancer as her personal career even though she has a strong passion for performing on stage since childhood. Around 20 years ago, Coby chose to go back to the stage after retirement where she met Stephen King, the man with different experiences and background, who is 20 years younger than her.

Ceecee Wu
尽管在旧金山度过了大半生，78岁的吴锡锡（Ceecee Wu）始终将自己视为“来自上海的女士”。找第三任丈夫时，她甚至只考虑来自上海的男人。后来她在千禧年通过交友网站认识了她的来自上海的前夫，二人跨越语言与地理限制结下了爱情故事。
Despite living in San Francisco for her entire adult life, the 78-year-old Ceecee Wu has always considered herself as "the lady from Shanghai". It seemed only natural that Ceecee specifically looked for men from Shanghai for her third marriage. Later, she met her ex-husband from Shanghai through a dating website in the milennium and they formed a relationship that defeats the obstacle of language and geographical boundaries.
方美仙
Cynthia Yee
生于1944年的方美仙（Cynthia Yee）生长于旧金山，在2003年退休后，她创立了“都板街舞团”(Grant Avenue Follies)。她也曾是一名夜总会舞者。精力旺盛的她也曾是一名珠宝店老板、魔术师、1967年的中国城选美冠军得主。除此之外，她也是讲述华埠都市传说——Chinatown Ghost Walking Tour的导游。
Born and raised in San Francisco, Cynthia Yee established Grant Avenue Follies after retirement. Yee was a nightclub dancer as well. She was ever being so energetic to do her own business as a jewelry strore owner, magician and the beauty pageant winner of Chinatown in 1967. Besides, she is also the guide of Chinatown Ghost Walking which tells urban legends of Chinatown.
都板街舞团
Grant Avenue Follies
都板街舞团（Grant Avenue Follies）由方美仙（Cynthia Yee）和她的三名昔日舞者创立，舞团共有十余名成员，除了歌手，其余成员皆为年龄70岁以上的华裔女性。团体中绝大多数女性都曾经历了离异或丧偶，生命境遇各不相同，在花甲之时走到了一起献身表演。
Founded by Cynthia Yee and her three dance partners in the old days, Grant Avenue Follies have more than ten members. Apart from singers, other members are all Chinese women aged more than 70. Most of them have experienced divorce or bereft of husband. These women with different life experience have gathered together to prepare a final routine of stage performance.
居住在旧金山圣马刁县，吴锡锡101岁的失忆母亲，每天会在口中喃喃自语：“这是哪里？我在上海吗？”
Living in San Mateo County, San Francisco, Ceecee Wu’s mom with Alzheimer's disease has always been murmuring every single day: “Where is it? Am I in Shanghai?”

杨圆圆
Luka Yuanyuan Yang
杨圆圆（b.1989，北京）是一名视觉艺术家与电影导演，她通过影像、摄影、艺术家书与表演等多种媒介叙事。曾获ART POWER年度艺术发现大奖（2019）；亚洲文化协会奖助金（2017)；新锐摄影奖提名（2016）；华宇青年奖提名(2016)；法国阿尔勒摄影节作者书奖(2015)；Magenta基金会Flash Forward摄影奖（2013）；三影堂特尼基金奖（2012）等等。她的近期个展包括 “大连幻景”，AIKE，上海，中国，2019；“交错剧场”，华美艺术协会456画廊，纽约，美国，2018；“间隔地带“，Modern Art Base, 上海，中国，2018；“在视线交错之处，上篇“，C-空间，北京，中国，2016。
2018年，她在纽约的Art in General与UnionDocs进行驻地。2019年，她的处女短片电影《相爱的柯比与史蒂芬》入围多部国际电影节包括美国亚特兰大电影节、卡姆登国际电影节、亚美国际电影节、台湾国际女性影展等。目前，她的第一部长片《女人世界》正在后期制作中。
Luka Yuanyuan Yang (b.1989, Beijing) is a visual artist and filmmaker. She does visual storytelling through film, photography, artist books and performance. Yang received awards internationally from organizations such as Art Power 100 (2019); Asian Cultural Council (2017); Huayu Youth Award(2016); Rencontres d'Arles(2015); Magenta Foundation(2013); Three Shadows Tierney Fellowship (2012) etc. Her recent solo exhibitions include Dalian Mirage, AIKE, Shanghai, China, 2019; Theater of Crossroads, Chinese America Arts Council Gallery 456, New York, United States, 2018; Interval, Modern Art Base, Shanghai, China, 2018; At the Place of Crossed Sights, C-Space, Beijing, China, 2016.
In 2018, Yang was the artist-in-residence at Art in General and UnionDocs in New York. In 2019, her first short film Coby and Stephen are in Love co-directed with Carlo Nasisse was screened at multiple international film festivals such as Atlanta Film Festival, Camden International Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival and Women Make Waves etc. Her first feature film Women's World is currently in post-production phase.
