“无相”杨黎明作品展将于2017年3月11日在艺凯旋艺术空间展出。此次展览由当代著名批评家廖雯担当策展人，展览以杨黎明新作“時空流韻系列”为主线，同时梳理了其黑色 、灰色、蓝色系列作品，共展出作品十数件，为观者近距离探索其作品的变化提供了线索。
杨黎明以他的感悟力、诚心、不懈，找到了他独特的抽象性语言方式，并以此表达出他独特的不易用形象表述的心灵感受，在中国当代抽象艺术中独树一帜！
杨黎明描绘的不是一般意义的“像”，而是修行所谓的“相” ，是某种感觉长期累积于心的结果。所以，“相”是指难以描述的玄微的心灵感觉，而理解杨黎明的作品，有一点非常重要，那就是他“内修” 的生活方式。“内修”获得的感悟不是大众化的，所以，杨黎明的“心相”有某种特殊性，作为艺术家而不是职业的修行者，杨黎明又有把这种感悟表达出来的强烈愿望，这便是杨黎明艺术探索的最大动力，也是杨黎明语言方式个人化的根本突破点。而“颜色”在杨黎明的画面，只是一种对应各个时期心相的象征性的基调。
随着心相的变化，杨黎明的艺术肯定会出现变化，然而万变不离其宗，即书论所谓“万殊一相”，佛道所谓“无相之相”。

Animitta--Yang Liming Solo Exhibition is to open at TriumphArt Space on March 11th, 2017. Curated by the well-know art critic Liao Wen, this exhibition puts on view more than 10 works by the artists. A theme line, drawn from his new painting Flowing Melody of Time and Space, threads his past series of Black, Gray and Blue, presenting a good opportunity for the audience to track the trajectory of Yang's changing styles.
Yang Liming has found his unique abstractive language form with his perception, sincerity and perseverance, and hereby presented his distinctive spiritual feelings that are hard to describe through images, which established a style of his own in the field of Chinese contemporary art.
Beyond all questions, there is not the “images”(Xiang; 像) of general meaning in Yang’s paintings, but the “nature” (Xiang; 相) instead. Is it so called “one’s face is shaped by one’s heart” (相由心生) in ancient Chinese, which means everyone has his/her inner feelings, while the formation of the “nature of one’s heart” or the “inner world” is a consequence of feelings’ long-term accumulation in the heart. Thus, the “nature” here means an indescribable and subtle spiritual feeling. This is not a difficult concept to be understood, but to understand Yang’s works is still not easy for many people, and it is also sent a “mysterious” feeling in Yang’s description of his feelings. That is because there is one important point in Yang’s life style—his “cultivation and temperance” of himself. His apperception and inspiration from that is not common for the public, so there is some specific feature in his “inner world”. As an artist, instead of being a real religious practitioner, Yang has a strong intension of expressing his apperception and inspiration, and that forms his strongest motivation of artistic creation, as well as the fundamental breaking point of his individualization of language pattern. And the “colour” in yang’s paintings, is only a symbolic tone that corresponds his inner world in every period.
Following the changes of his inner world, Yang Liming’s artistic creations are destined to change. Nevertheless, “The methods used may vary, but the principle stays the same”, that is to say, “variant in style, same in nature” in calligraphic theory, and “formless form (Animitta)” in Buddhism.
