【艺·凯旋】开幕现场 | 聿间观林-潘剑个展于5月5日开幕
艺·凯旋画廊于2018年5月5日举办潘剑在艺·凯旋画廊的首次个展《聿间观林》，展览将呈现潘剑创作于2013年至2017年的一系列绘画作品。
Triumph Gallery is pleased to present “Seeing the Forest through the Brush – Pan Jian Solo Exhibition” on May 5th, 2018 at Triumph Gallery. This exhibition will present Pan Jian’s works created during 2013 to 2017.

关于艺术家
潘剑，1975年出生，2001年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，获学士学位，留校任教，2008年毕业于西安美术学院油画系，获硕士学位，现工作、生活于北京和西安。他的作品以架上绘画为主，深受诗歌和中国传统美学的影响，通过对同一物象的深刻描绘，体现独特的审美倾向和绘画观点。
个人展览包括：“聿间观林—潘剑个展”（艺·凯旋画廊，中国北京，2018）、“对流层的光”“光的阴影”“阴影的边缘”（赞善里10号画廊 ，中国香港，2017、2015、2013）、“陌生化图像”（今日美术馆，中国北京，2010） 。群展包括： “界限之外”（RH当代艺术，纽约，2014）、“溪山清远—中国新绘画”（亚洲艺术博物馆，美国旧金山，2011）、“改造历史-中国青年新艺术邀请展”（阿拉里奥画廊，中国北京，2010）。
About the artist
Pan Jian was born in 1975. He graduated from the oil painting department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor´s degree in 2001, and taught in the academy. In 2008, Pan Jian received the master’s degree in the same department. Now he works and lives in Beijing and Xi’an. Most of his works are easel paintings, which are deeply influenced by poem and traditional Chinese aesthetics. His unique aesthetic tendency and views on painting are embodied in the in-depth delineation on the same one subject.
Pan Jian’s solo exhibitions are: “Seeing the Forest through the Brush – Pan Jian Solo Exhibition” (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2018), “Light of the Troposphere”, “Shadow of Light”, “The Realm of the Shadows” (10 Chancery Lane Gallery, Hong Kong, China, 2017, 2015, 2013), “Strange Image: Painting Solo Show-Pan Jian” (Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2010). His group exhibitions are: “Outside the Lines: New Art from China” (RH Contemporary Art Gallery, New York, U.S.A., 2014), “Pure Views- New Painting from China” (Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, U.S.A., 2011), “Reshaping History- China Youth New Art Invitational Exhibition” (Arario Gallery, Beijing, China, 2010).
