【艺·凯旋】展览预告 | 礼物-张凯个展将于6月23日开幕
艺·凯旋画廊荣幸地宣布将于2018年6月23日举办张凯在艺·凯旋画廊第三次个展《礼物》，展览将呈现张凯创作于2008年至2018年，十年间的一系列油画作品及素描手稿。
Triumph Gallery is pleased to present “Present – Zhang Kai Solo Exhibition” on June 23th, 2018 at Triumph Gallery. This exhibition will present Zhang Kai’s oil paintings and sketches created in ten years from 2008 to 2018.

关于艺术家|About the artist
张凯，1985年生于山西，2007年毕业于山西师范大学美术学院。现工作、生活于北京。他的作品以赋有拟人化与精神性的猫与兔子为主角，呈现出安静，神秘，诗意的画面氛围。以当代视角对艺术史的梳理分析与个人审美倾向为出发点，通过对古典与当代的融合与重建展现了艺术家对时间，精神，表象与本质的思考。
个人展览包括：“礼物——张凯个展”（艺·凯旋画廊，中国北京，2018）、“中国进行时——当代青年艺术家”（艺·凯旋艺术空间，皇家艺术学院，英国伦敦，2015）、“把我的世界留在这儿——张凯作品展”（艺·凯旋艺术空间，中国北京，2013）、“请带着我一起飞——张凯个展”（台北寒舍艺术中心，中国台北，2010）、“断续的梦——张凯个展”（凯旋新锐艺术空间，中国北京，2008）。
群展包括：“知性图景”（艺·凯旋艺术空间，中国北京，2015）、“Ingrandimento——第55届威尼斯国际艺术双年展平行展”（意大利威尼斯，2013）、“未来通行证全球巡回展”（今日美术馆, 中国北京，2012）、“改造历史——中国青年新艺术邀请展”（今日美术馆,中国北京, 2010）。
Zhang Kai was born in 1985 in Shanxi province, China. He graduated from the School of Arts, Shanxi Normal University, currently works and lives in Beijing. In his painting, the protagonists are personified and spiritualized cats and rabbits, which present the tranquil, mysterious and poetic atmosphere. Through the synthesis and reconstruction of the classical and the contemporary, Zhang Kai presents his thinking on time, spirit, appearance and essence, starting from his analysis of art history from the contemporary perspective, and his own aesthetic tendencies.
Zhang Kai’s solo exhibitions are: “Present—Zhang Kai Solo Exhibition” (Triumph Gallery, Beijing, China, 2018), “China Now—Young Artist Duet”(Triumph Art Space, Royal College of Art, London, United Kingdom, 2015), “Leave My World Here: Zhang Kai Art Exhibition”(Triumph Art Space, Beijing, China, 2013),“Please Take Me to The Sky: Zhang Kai Solo Exhibition”, (My Humblehouse Art Center, Taipei, 2010), “Broken Dream- Zhang Kai Solo Exhibition”, (Triumph Alternative Space, Beijing, China, 2008).
His group exhibitions are: “Intellectual Images” (Triumph Art Space，Beijing, China, 2015),“Ingrandimento- Parallel Exhibition of 55th Venice Biennia” (Venice, Italy, 2013),“Future Pass Global Traveling Exhibition”(Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2012)“Reshaping History - China Youth New Art”(Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2010).

Triumph Gallery was founded in 2007 in the heart of 798 Art Zone, Beijing and forms strong relations with Asian collectors since over 10 years. The Triumph Gallery represents established and emerging Chinese contemporary artists, such as Fang Lijun, Pan Dehai, Jia Difei, Liang Ying, Li Yuduan, Li Xinjian, Cai Jin, Xu Hong, Yang Liming, Pan Jian, He Jie, Tu Xi, Xu Hongxiang and Zhang Kai. The mission of Triumph Gallery is to work on the careers of artists, by enabling collaborations with museums and institutions and by supporting projects outside of the gallery walls. Various exhibitions have been organized and curated by influential curators.
