Lots of people may not know Microsoft Word has some advanced options. The creation of a drop-down list in Word 2016 will use the developer tool which takes 1 minute to do it.

1. Click Files → Options.
2. Find Customize Ribbon in the left bar, then check if Developer in the right box is chosen. Click OK to close the dialog box.
3. Click Developer in the Word Ribbon, and choose Drop-Down List Content Control to insert it in the document.
4. Click Properties under Developer to add contents in the drop-down list.
