言蹊|趣味漫画文言文——《富贵不能淫》

      文言文难学吗有没有在学习的时候一直抓耳挠腮地搞不懂文章的意思有没有每次看到文言文的时候脑子里立马就蹦出来“妈呀!又是文言文,求放过我的大脑吧”的想法?有没有希望再也不要在中文课上看到文言文的影子?如果有,请看一看MYP八年级的学生是怎么把一篇枯燥无味的议论性的文言文趣味呈现的




Is Classical Chinese difficult to learn? Did you ever scratch your head and couldn't make sense of a classical Chinese article? Did your mind immediately pops out, "Oh, my God! Classical Chinese again, please spare my brain" once you saw classical Chinese? Did you ever wish you would never meet classical Chinese in your Chinese class again? If so, please take a look at how the G8 at MYP put a dull, argumentative piece of classical Chinese into fun.

      

      机缘巧合之下,在探究议论文的学习过程中,MYP八年级的学生和几千年前的立论大师孟子相遇,并在中文课堂上和他几千年前提出的思想观点产生了激烈的碰撞,学生尝试着用自己喜欢的漫画风格呈现对《富贵不能淫》思想观点的理解,漫画的创作过程迸发着学生探索的欲望,大家在解读中勾勒自己的畅想,把畅想消融在画作的构思上,使得原本晦涩难懂的文言文在他们一笔一画呈现的过程中变得生动具体、妙趣横生


By coincidence, in the process of inquiry of argumentation, G8 at MYP met case master Mencius who lived thousands of years ago. In Chinese class, students produced a fierce collision on the ideas Mencius put forward thousands of years ago. They tried to use their favorite cartoon style to show their understanding of "One Should Never Be Corrupted by Wealth ". The creation process of comics sparked students' desire to explore. They outlined their own imagination in the interpretation and melted it into the conception of painting. In the process of their brushstroke in drawing, they made the original obscure classical Chinese into vivid, concrete and interesting

      Shining说:“当知道要做这个活动后,意识到自己终于也有机会可以用漫画讲古人的事情了,我一下子就想到了妈妈给我买的漫画书《给儿童的中国历史》,参照这本漫画书的画风完成了自己的画作。整个创作过程我都非常地享受,尤其是在画小人的时候,觉得小小的人儿被我一笔一笔画出来,特别的可爱。这真的是一个蛮有趣的活动,帮助我很好的梳理了这篇文言文的脉络并且加深了对文章内容的理解。

Shining said: "When I knew I was going to do this activity and realized I would finally have a chance to use comics to tell stories about ancient people, I immediately thought of the comic book my mother bought me, 'Chinese History for Children'. I finished my painting on the reference of this comic book. I enjoyed the whole creation process very much, especially when drawing the little people, I felt that the little people were drawn by me one stroke after another, which was very lovely. It was really an interesting activity, which helped me to sort out the context of classical Chinese and deepened my understanding of the content of the article."


       Zoey说:“这是我第一次尝试用漫画画出自己对文言文的理解,孟子《富贵不能淫》这篇文章的漫画创作一个充满乐趣的过程,当老师布置完这个活动,我就一下子想到自己可以选用《如果历史是一群喵》里面猫咪的形象来作画,作画的过程也是我加深理解、自我消化重组创作的过程,画完我几乎已经可以熟知背诵下来这篇文章了,那一刻的我充满了自豪感

Zoey said. "This is the first time I tried to draw my own understanding of classical Chinese with cartoons. It was a fun process to create the cartoon of Mencius' article" One Should Never Be Corrupted by Wealth". When teacher assigned this activity, I immediately thought that I could draw the image of the cat in "If History is a group of Cats". The process of painting is also a process of deepening my understanding, self-digesting and reorganizing my creation. After painting, I can almost recite the article. I am filled with pride at that moment."



      Eline说:“我很喜欢这次的趣味漫画文言文活动,因为我终于有机会可以把自己的绘画才能展现出来了老师布置完这个活动后,我先是在网上查一下这篇文言文的背景知识,然后根据课堂上老师的讲解,再加入自己的一些想法,最终确定画风选择古风,我还根据人物所在的朝代来设计他们的服饰,给了他们很多细节方面的点缀,最后按照文章的议论顺序画出整幅图画画作的呈现提升了我对文言文的兴趣,文言文也是可以形象并有趣的


Eline said. "I really love this interesting cartoon Classical Chinese activity, because I finally get a chance to show my panting talent. After teacher assigned this activity, first, I checked on the Internet about this classical Chinese’s background knowledge.Then according to the interpretation of teacher in class. I added some of my own ideas and decided to choose the ancient style. I also designed the clothes of the characters according to their dynasty and gave them many details. Finally, I drew the whole picture according to the discussion order of the article. This activity promoted my interest in classical Chinese. Classical Chinese can also be graphic and interesting.

    还有其他几位学生的画作也是趣味满满,各有特色。比如Mary采用现实生活中的一些表情包和具体事例来呈现自己对这篇文章的理解,Allie参考网络上不同的人物形象用连环画的形式呈现自己的理解,Silas选择了用自己最擅长画的小动物——狼来呈现自己的理解,很好地把握住角色的神情和动作,非常生动具体


There are also several other students' paintings that are interesting and have their own characteristics. Such as Mary used some memes and concrete examples in real life to render her understanding of the article. Allie referenced different characters on the network and presented her own understanding in the form of comic books. Silas has chosen the animal which she is good at drawing--Wolf to present her understanding, grasped the roles’ expressions and actions vividly and concretely.

       虽然是对同一篇文章作画,但是每个人都各显神通,对文言文文本进行了“再解读”。大家兴味盎然地运用不同的漫画风格表现自己的想法,整个活动充满趣味的同时加深了学生对文本的深度理解。学生享受在自己的创作中,并在作品里感悟自己的成就,整个过程体现了IB学习项目里的积极探究勤于思考胸襟开阔敢于尝试的重要品质。我们始终相信“兴趣是最好的老师”,它会带领探索者开拓者去到过去和未来,领略“诗与远方”


Although they painted for the same article, each of them showed his or her special power and "re-interpreted" the classical Chinese article. The students expressed their ideas in different cartoon styles with great interest. The whole activity was full of fun and deepened the students' understanding of the article. Students enjoyed creating their own work and felt the sense of achievement. The whole process reflects the important qualities of inquirers, thinkers, open-minded and risk-takers in the IB program. We always believe that "interest is the best teacher", it will lead explorers and pioneers to the past and future, appreciate "poetry and distance".
