让孩子顺利起飞——记句容碧桂园学校国际课程部第二期校外幼小衔接活动成功举行
让孩子顺利起飞
给我一双翅膀，我可以欢乐飞翔。4月14日，一群小天使们来到句容碧桂园学校国际小学部，他们带着好奇心、求知欲，开始了他们第一堂小学体验课。
Give me a pair of wings, I definitely can fly joyfully. On April 14th, a group of preschool children, from our International kindergarten, came to our PYP to experience their first lesson with great curiosity.
本次校外幼小衔接活动共分两个班，分别在小学部三楼、四楼图书馆进行。老师们精心为孩子们准备了有趣的特色英文课和充满趣味充满挑战的特色探究课。
The activities prepared for preschool classes were separated into two classes—in our two libraries. All the related teachers had given interesting English lessons and challenging UOI activities.
首先，一位中教和一位外教带着小朋友们做了英文小游戏“What’s your name”，在全英的外教沉浸式口语教学中，小朋友们刚开始略显害羞和紧张，伴随游戏，小朋友们开始大声讲英语，积极和外教互动，表现非常棒！
As a start, these kindergarten children, accompanied by one Chinese and one foreign teacher, played a game called “what’s your name” in a bilingual teaching environment. Although all of them was a bit shy at the beginning, they performed more active and improved communication after attractive activities.
紧接着，两位老师带着小朋友们开启了神奇的探究之旅。本次探究课的主题是“神奇的房子”，通过头脑风暴，小朋友们了解了房子长什么样子，不同的房子有哪些功能；一组神奇的房子的照片让小朋友们打开了话匣子，积极举手表达自己的观点；老师还将图形的知识整合其中，小朋友们一边探究，一边学习图形的知识，真是趣味无穷啊！随后，小朋友们如愿以偿，和其他小组成员一起合作，用不同的图形拼搭自己的房屋，并大胆自信地介绍自己的作品。
Then, our two teachers guided kindergartners to initiate our inquiry activity on “magic houses” by brainstorming and functions of houses. All of these aroused students’ enthusiasm and made them willing to share their ideas about magic houses. What made them interested most was that the teachers integrated knowledge by multidisciplinary approaches. Because of these activities, preschool children were able to collaborate to construct different houses and introduced them with full confidence.
最后，家长们移步启真报告厅，参加家长工作坊，小朋友们和老师一起聊天、绘画、读书、做手工，进行进一步的相处与沟通。一下午的沟通与交流，很多小朋友喜欢上了这里，走之前还不停的说：“老师，我明天还来吗？老师，我什么时候可以来上学呀？”
Subsequently, their parents had to schedule time to participate the workshop held in Qizhen lecture. At the same time, further communication narrow the distance between our teachers and kindergartners, along with chatting, drawing, reading as well as handmade. These great afternoon activities had won favors from most of these children as they wondered “when and how can I come here?” before they leaved.
通过本期校外幼小衔接活动，小朋友们对小学生活有了初步的认识，家长们也对学校课程有了初步了解。加油，小朋友们，祝你们顺利起飞！
