南京初中生注意!2018南京各国际班加试口语试题+备考攻略来了!

2018南外本部考本部口语加试


考试时间在每年四月,时间为4-6分钟,满分为20分。


口语加试考试题型

1、牛津段落背诵:背诵指定段落。考试时老师会抽一篇要求学生背诵。

2、篇章阅读:学生会拿到一篇阅读文章,要求先通读文章,读完收走,根据阅读的内容进行提问。一般会有三个问题,学生口头回答。

3、口语话题:老师会问一个问题,要求学生针对这个问题,进行话题的展开描述。


试题回忆

考试的先后顺序是:进考场后,老师先指定一段牛津文章段落,要求学生背诵。然后给出阅读文章,进行朗读并回答问题。

今年的文章内容为:英国人排队的习惯及其原因。文章读完之后,老师问了三个问题:

1、教授是如何解释queuing的原因?

2、二战时期,英国人为什么排队?

3、英国人在遇到插队的时候会怎么做?


温馨提示:“queue”这个单词在文章中出现过很多次,这个单词的发音很容易读错,大家一定要注意这个单词的发音哦:[kjuː]


回答完问题后,给出的话题是:讲述关于违反规定的经历。讲自己的或者别人的经历都可以。


下面是一篇关于英国人排队的参考文章:

Queuing, it's what the British are famous for doing - and doing very well. Better than anyone else in the world, if reputation is to be believed.

Take the Wimbledon queue.

It's held up as a supreme example of Britain's prowess when it comes to queuing. The likes of tea, cake and camping chairs often make an appearance. It even has its own code of conduct in case, heaven forbid, anyone doesn't understand how the queue works.

But Wimbledon is an exception when it comes to standing in a long line, say social historians. Despite the UK's formidable global reputation, queuing in a calm, good-natured manner has not always come naturally.


"We're supposed to be so wonderful at it but really that reputation is built around a whole mythology to do with the British and queuing," says Dr Joe Moran, a social historian and author of Queuing for Beginners: The Story of Daily Life from Breakfast to Bedtime.


The temporary nature of queues makes it hard to trace their history, but key historical events are said to have shaped how the British queue and their reputation for being so good at it. One is the industrial revolution.

"The orderly queue seems to have been an established social form in the early 19th Century, a product of more urbanised, industrial societies which brought masses of people together," says Moran.

People were moving in huge numbers from the countryside into towns changing the patterns of daily life, including shopping.

But what really shaped Britain's reputation as civilised queuers was World War II.

"Propaganda at the time was all about doing your duty and taking your turn," says Bradley. "It was a way the government tried to control a situation in uncertain times."

The queue became loaded with meaning, drawing on notions of decency, fair play and democracy and the myth of the British as patient queuers was forged, says Moran.


"In reality there were arguments and disturbances, often the police had to be brought in to sort things out and restore order. Queuing was exhausting, frustrating and tense.

"Things that weren't rationed would go on sale spasmodically, word would go round and long queues would start to form. People often joined the end of a queue without knowing exactly what it was for, they just hoped it would be something useful."

备考建议

1、牛津段落背诵:一般老师会提前给学生划定好七篇到八篇的内容,每篇内容为1到2段,提前一定要背熟!准备的时候建议听牛津教材配套录音,进行跟读模仿,纠正发音和语音语调。


2、篇章阅读:因为考试时,文章读完就要收走,所以考察的是学生的瞬间记忆力和语言组织能力。所以在平时做阅读理解时,可以增加一些paraphrase练习,尝试用自己的语言复述文章内容。在朗读文章的时候,注意自己单词的发音、语音语调,另外,也要用心记住文中内容哦!


3、口语话题:考试前,老师会给学生50个左右的口语话题,供学生练习和参考。很多话题的问法和答法比较类似,可以相互套用。建议学生在练习时,注意对话题进行展开叙述,在描述的时候,尽可能详细,不要一带而过,最好可以结合自己的经历,将生活中的所见所闻运用在话题中,这样可以使话题更生活且有说服力,也容易让评委印象深刻。

选材于一个value story:The Tree and the Vegetables

【以下为故事大体内容,考试中部分词汇会有简化替换】


Once upon a time, there was a lovely vegetable patch, on which grew a very leafy tree. Both the patch and the tree gave the place a wonderful appearance, and were the pride and joy of the garden's owner. What no one knew was that the vegetables in the patch and the tree couldn't stand each other. The vegetables hated the tree's shadow, because it left them only just enough light to survive. The tree, on the other hand, resented the vegetables because they drank nearly all the water before it could get to him, leaving him with just enough to survive.


The situation became so extreme that the vegetables got totally fed up and decided to use up all the water in the ground so that the tree would dry up. The tree answered back by refusing to shade the vegetables from the hot midday sun, so they too began to dry up. Before long, the vegetables were really scrawny, and the tree's branches were drying up.


None of them suspected that the gardener, on seeing his vegetable patch deteriorating, would stop watering it. When he did that, both the tree and the vegetables really learned what thirst was. There seemed to be no solution, but one of the vegetables, a small courgette, understood what was going on, and decided to resolve it. Despite the little water available, and the unforgiving heat, the little courgette did all he could to grow, grow, grow...


He managed to grow so big that the gardener started watering the patch again. Now the gardener wanted to enter that beautiful big courgette in some gardening contest.


And so it was that the vegetables and the tree realised that it was better to help each other than to fight. They should really learn how to live in harmony with those around them, doing the best they could. So they decided to work together, using both the shade and the water in the best combination to grow good vegetables. Seeing how well they were doing, the gardener now gave the best of care to his vegetable patch, watering and fertilising it better than any other patch for miles around.

3.How did the tree prevent the vegetable from growing?

建议从合作、竞争方面展开,并结合自身经历展开讨论。



2018 南师附校口语加试


中澳班/中英班(A-level):

考试时间大概为5-8分钟,面试老师是一个外教老师,全程英文对话。开始的时候会问一些warm up questions:比如:你有兄弟姐妹吗?是否养过宠物?等等。这部分内容有点类似于雅思口语考试中的part 1,考官希望了解学生的一些个人情况,涉及到的话题会有:hometown, animals, accommodation, color , food, friends & family等。从回答中,也会对学生的英文水平有初步的评判。


之后会进行英文自我介绍,外教会从自我介绍中,抽一些问题提问,比如说到喜欢音乐,会问喜欢什么类型的音乐?有没有喜欢的歌手等。最后,会问一些“为什么要报考国际班?”“为什么想考南师附校”。如果你报考的是中澳班,可能还会问:“为什么想要去澳洲?”


备考建议

准备雅思口语part 1的部分的话题,提前练习。这部分热身问题是在最开始进行,老师会对学生有个初步的判断,所以给外教一个很好的第一印象很重要。准备时要以下几点内容:


1、时态的正确使用:这是中国学生在口语中很容易出错的地方,由于中英文语言的差异,在表达时,经常过去时和现在时交叉使用,所以正确使用时态,特别是过去式是练习的重点。


2、提前做好话题素材储备。建议学生平时准备好一些话题,比如喜欢的书、电影、音乐、食物、宠物、运动、旅行、学校生活等。内容不需要太多,做到有话可说即可。在准备的时候,一定要结合自身实际,找一些例子去讲,比如说到旅行的话题,可以讲一次自己旅行经历,很容易引起外教老师的兴趣哦!


2018雨花台藤校班口语加试考试内容

面试老师是一个外教老师,全程英文对话。外教会先让学生做英文自我介绍,之后会根据自我介绍的内容抽一些问题提问,比如:学生提到了喜欢旅行,外教就问了学生去过哪里旅行,最喜欢哪里等等。另外,会问一些关于未来打算的问题,比如:“想去美国读什么大学?”“未来想做什么工作?”


备考建议

1、自我介绍。建议要提前准备好。在练习的时候,建议把自我介绍里提到的自己的兴趣爱好的内容展开描述,比如:如果涉及到喜欢运动,就要想好在评委问到“最喜欢哪项运动”的问题时的答案。


2、提前做好规划。建议学生提前了解自己所报考的学校和想去的国家,包括具体的目标大学,目标专业,以及为什么想去那个国家?这些都是国际班的高频问题,同学们可以提前做好准备哦!考官希望听到学生对自己未来的规划,通常更喜欢有想法,有独立思考能力的学生。
