Alibaba and Three Squirrels Joined in FBIF2017-F&B Grand Meeting

Jet Jing, Vice President of Alibaba and founder & CEO of Three Squirrels(三只松鼠) confirmed to join Food & Beverage Innovation Forum 2017 (FBIF2017). FBIF2017 is the leading F&B event in Asia to be held in Shanghai from April 19th to 21st, 2017. 

In the past year, China's retailing industry had showed deep anxiety and confusion. This is because the traditional retailing system represented by P&G has gradually collapsed and high costs for Internet flux are becoming a true reality. Believe it or not, China's retailing industry is in a monumental transformation, where you can see traditional retailers embrace e-commerce platforms while online shoppers go offline. According to Alibaba, this situation will bring us to a new retailing age in the upcoming ten years and there is a must for online to integrate with offline.

To achieve this, Alibaba also assets that there are three key points for retailers to pay attention to, which are branding, channel management and product innovation. China's largest e-commerce retailer Three Squirrels would be a best case here. As a young brand, Three Squirrels conducted a series of strategies to develop itself. For brand building, they invest in animation industry, cooperate with web personality singers and place their products in TV plays; for channel management, they transform from online to offline, planning to build 100 physical stores in 2017 and expand to 1000 in three or five years; and for product innovation, they strategically utilize big data to explore consuming patterns to accelerate product innovation. As you can see, this young company is shaping their brand future in an unique way.
