Official announcement: Hello Foods Prize, Global F&B Creative Product Tasting and Evaluation Competition hosted by FBIF, has now officially changed its name to Wow Food Awards!

Previously


Wow Food Awards (formerly Hello Foods Prize), a F&B creative product tasting and evaluation competition, officially launched by FBIF in Shanghai, China in 2017. The competition brings together dozens of experts in product R&D and market research in the industry to taste and evaluate the product from a comprehensive perspective and to explore the innovation of each product in depth. In 2019, we received excellent works from nearly 100 enterprises in China, including traditional brands which has a history over decades, as well as emerging industry stars.


With the increasing influence and credibility of Wow Food Awards in China's Food & Beverage industry, it will be open to the global innovative food and beverage in the new season of 2020 in order to promote the development of new ideas. At that time, we will gather all the experts of this industry and set up three global jury stations, namely, Asia Pacific, North America and Northern Europe, to evaluate innovative products from all over the world, which is bound to be an incredible competition!

Entry Categories


Wow Food Awards 2020 entries are divided into "snack category" and "beverage category". The competition is open to pre-packaged products that are launched during August 1st, 2018 to January 10th, 2020, and belong to the following categories. All the players in the product R&D value chain such as brand owners, suppliers, research institutions can join the competition.

Note:
  • One SKU is a group of entry, for example, blueberry yogurt is one group of entry, blueberry yogurt and mango yogurt are two groups of entries.

  • CNY/$ exchange rate 7.09.

Awards


Award products have the highest overall score in each category.



Note: the organizer has the right to adjust the number of awards, cancel or increase the awards according to the specific score of each product.

  • Cancellation of awards: the scores of winning products of a single category are too low;

  • Increase of awards: there is a new category not listed by the committee and the number of entries of this new category reaches a certain scale; In categories with a large number of entries, such as milk drinks and baked goods, the top of the overall score will be awarded.

Entry submission: September 25th, 2019 - January 17th, 2020

Entry evaluation : mid to late February, 2020

Shortlisted notice: mid to late March, 2020

WFA2020 Ceremony: April 16th, 2020 (tentative), Hangzhou International Expo Center, China
