Thanksgiving celebrations are all about cooking and sharing an abundance of food with family and friends. Just in case you American expats are feeling homesick this Thanksgiving, Chengdu has its own line-up of feasts and festivities for you to enjoy to make you feel more at home!

November 29: 2020 Chengdu Marathon
As we informed you earlier on, this years race has a limited capacity of 10,000 runners , only offer the full marathon (42.195km), and registrations are closed in meanwhile. During the event, there will be temporary traffic control on some roads during the marathon this Sunday, please pay attention to make a detour. If you have friends lucky to be selected form the lottery system or would like to get a taste of the city's sporty vibe, this is your change to go cheer the runners up along the track.
The race will start from Jinsha Site Museum at 7:30am, and pass by Wide & Narrow Alley, Renmin Park, Tianfu Square, Anshun Bridge, then heading further South passing Global Center and way down South of Europe Center, where they will turn back North to the old Exhibition Center. The cut off time is 1:45pm.
