从图纸、模型到实物，通过材料建构和艺术表达相互交叠运用的建造体验，以激发园林学子创作热情，提高动手能力，弘扬工匠精神，为风景园林行业培养实践创新人才，北京林业大学兹定于2018年9月下旬举办首届“北林国际花园建造节”。
The 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival will be hosted by Beijing Forestry University at the end of September, 2018. From the drawings, models and actual works, the Festival aims to demonstrate the purpose of inspiring students' passion for design, promoting handling capability, carrying forward the spirit of the craftsman and cultivating creative talents for the profession of landscape architecture through a construction experience integrating material construction and artistic expression.
本届花园建造节的主题为“竹境·花园”，是探讨以原竹和花卉为主要材料的花园建造技术。“竹境 · 花园——2018首届北林国际花园建造节” 竞赛自2018年1月发布方案征集以来，受到广泛关注，共有353组报名参加设计竞赛的团队，分布在112所高校中，共计1677人。
The festival aims to discuss garden-making techniques that use bamboo and herbs as major materials. Since the launch of the scheme collection of the Competition "Bamboo Pavilion · Garden: The 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival, 2018" in January 2018, it has attracted wide attention. 353 teams have signed up for the design competition, which are distributed in 112 colleges and universities with a total of 1677 people.
4月15日，方案征集截止，共收到203份作品，分布在57所高校中，共计1085人。
On April 15th, the scheme collection ended, a total of 203 entries were received, which are distributed in 57 colleges and universities with a total of 1085 people.

经过数轮紧张的评选，评审委员会在203份作品中选出了7份建造奖及12份优秀奖。建造奖将继续进行施工图深化，并于9月19日到北京林业大学建造节现场搭建，与邀请建造作品一起参加最后的评奖。9月23日举行颁奖典礼。优秀奖将获得获奖证书。
After several rounds of appraisal and selection with tension, 7 Construction Awards and 12 Excellence Awards were selected by the jury in 203 works. The teams who win the construction awards will continue to deepen the construction plan, and will be constructed at the site of Beijing Forestry University on September 19th. On the day, the invited construction works will join the final award appraisal and selection. The award ceremony will be held on September 23rd. The certificate of award will be awarded to the teams who win the Excellence Awards.
