In a horrific incident, a woman in China was alive even after a pair of scissors was stuck in her head. The woman after the accident took a bus to reach the hospital by herself to get the aid. The scissors were pierced through her skull.
The Chinese woman, identified with her last name Shen, was working on her farm harvesting mahogany leaves when this horrifying incident took place, reported NDTV.
She was unable to reach the tree, so she attached the scissors to a bamboo pole which unfortunately snapped and pierced through her scalp, Daily Mail reports.
Despite this horrific mishap, the 57-years-old stood calm and went to take a public bus on her own from her village in Hubei. The woman went to a hospital in Xiangyang city in the same province.
The woman said she didn't felt any pain in her head, in fact, she only slightly felt the numbness in her head, the report said. The journey from her home to the hospital reportedly took an hour.
The images of her X-ray reports from the hospital show the woman with her shaved head, scissors pierced in woman's skull.
The doctors operated to minimally invasive surgeries on the lady and safely took out the scissors from her skull. She continues to remain under observation.
According to local media, the scissors were barely 2-3 millimetres from her brain and embedded at an angle. Doctors believe if the scissors had pierced through vertically, the woman could have been left paralysed.
