Joe Wong is a biochemist turned stand-up comedian. He established a name for himself in the United States before coming back to Beijing. Now in his 40s, this humble-looking man with a deadpan expression is bringing laughs to audiences from both the West and the East.
Since his performance on stage in 2002, Joe Wong has performed Stand-Up Comedy for 20th years. His passion to make people laugh eventually landed him a spot on Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen Degeneres Show, and recently, Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He's also received a standing ovation at the White House Annual Correspondents' Dinner in 2010.
