It's Friday night and we need start this holiday right!  Let's get down to the underground at C's Bar and check out some live music.  Runnin' Late is hosting Loose Booty, Deku and Lotus, Root (藕乐队) for a funk, rock, post-punk explosion.  Plus, we've got a special DJ lineup featuring members of the bands (Tina Turnatrick and DJ Yoder).  Music starts at 9:30 but get there early for buy one, get one free drinks until 10:00.

Loose Booty

Loose Booty is the product of an intergalactic love story featuring Parliament Funkadelic, a bouncy castle and shag carpeting. Their mission? To get feet stompin', bodies sweatin', and booties shakin'. Their carefully crafted cocktail of funk and blues rock is specially formulated to get the party started and renders all attempts to avoid dancing futile. 

What's that smell when they're playing? It's called The Stank. It's a stank so potent you'll sign over your motor skills to the dance gods, loosen those hips and start communicating in the universal language of funk. See you on the dancefloor! 

Lotus Root藕乐队

Lotus Root藕乐队，成立于2020年底的一次醉酒，由吉他/主唱骑着桶，鼓手阿司匹林和贝斯淼淼三人组成。作为一支反技术的grunge/post punk乐队，吉他基本只有五和弦，贝斯基本只有根音，鼓基本只有动次打次。莲之出淤泥而不染，而藕至始至终生长于淤泥之中，藕乐队决定用简单粗暴的方式对当代生活进行一次深入全面的田野调查。

Deku

Having released their debut album It’s Dangerous to Go Alone in 2020, Deku continues to charge forward with a unique and mind-bending sound. They’ll get your head bobbing and feet tapping as you’re lulled into the eye of a guitar-driven psych-rock storm. With a hint of Nashville, Deku’s forward-driving grooves incorporate different styles and beats, keeping you on your toes and wondering what’s coming next.

A young man once found the aux cable at a house party, looked around to make sure the coast was clear, and changed the music to a song he liked. Years later, he would be asked to repeat this indecorous behavior. These are the origins of DJ Yoder and his eclectic mix of indie rock sounds.

Tina Turnatrick 

Tina Turnatrick  rose from the ashes of a sacrificial bongo thrown into a bass bin and set ablaze. Her sets run the gamut from rare funk and punk to rowdy crowd pleasers.... Get ready to hear a raucous set of classics from gutsy pioneers mixed with fresh blood from today's heroes.
