According to the latest notice of China Scholarship Council (CSC), the application guide of Shanghai University Chinese Government Scholarship "University Program" is updated as follows:

奖学金项目介绍
BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHCOLARSHIP PROGRAM

中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目是向中国院校提供的奖学金，用于资助院校直接遴选和推荐的优秀学生来华学习。申请人向承担此项目的中国院校提出申请，简称CSC-Type B。
资助对象：
申请攻读硕士或博士学位的优秀国际学生。
可申请专业：
不限（上海大学2023年开放招生的所有专业均可申请）
奖学金内容与标准：
包括正常学制内学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费
Chinese Government Scholarship University Program is a full scholarship established by Ministry of Education of China to support Chinese universities to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. The applicants submit application to the Chinese University undertaking the project, this scholarship program referred to as CSC-Type B.
Applicant:
Outstanding international students applying for a master's or doctoral degree program of Shanghai University.
Majors under this scholarship program:
No Limit (For all majors open to enrollment at Shanghai University in 2023)
Scholarship Coverage:
Tuition,accommodation,living stipend and comprehensive medical insurance

奖学金申请条件
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

1. 非中国籍公民，身体健康。
2. 来华攻读硕士学位者，须具有学士学位，年龄不超过35周岁；来华攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40周岁；
3. 语言能力及学业水平达到上海大学国际新生奖学金申请要求（请点击“阅读原文”，查看申请指南具体内容）
4. 申请时未获得其他类别奖学金资助。
Non-Chinese citizens with a valid ordinary-type passport, and in good health.
Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs. Be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
The language proficiency and academic background should meet the application requirements of Shanghai University New International Student Scholarship.(For the details, please click “Read more” at the end of the article)
No other type of scholarship was granted at the time of application.

申请材料
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

所需申请材料包含护照信息页、最高学历证明、学习成绩单、语言能力证明、来华学习计划、推荐信、外国人体格检查表、无犯罪记录证明、所获荣誉及学术能力证明等。（请点击“阅读原文”，查看申请指南具体内容）
注意：
1.非中文或英文的文件，需附经公证的或发证单位提供的汉语/英语翻译件；
2.以上材料申请时仅需要上传扫描件，开学报到时需提供原件备查；
3. 通过系统上传的材料须清晰、真实、有效，因材料不真实、不清晰或无法可识别造成的后果由申请人承担。
Includes copy of passport information page, notarized highest diploma, academic transcripts, language qualification certificates, research plan, recommendation letters, foreigner physical examination form, non-criminal record report, awards, academic achievement proves etc. (For the details, please click “阅读原文” at the end of the article.)
NOTES:
Documents not in Chinese or English should be accompanied by Chinese/English translation provided by notarized or issuing departments;
Only scanned copies of the above materials are required for application, and the original documents are required for reference at the time of registration.
Uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicants are recommended to use a professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by untrue, unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials.

申请流程
APPLICATION METHODS

第一步：
申请人于2023年2月15日前，在上海大学国际学生在线申请系统提交申请。
上海大学在线申请系统预计于2022年11月30日开放，建议尽快提交申请。上海大学在线申请系统包含个人信息填写、申请资料上传、在线测试、报名费支付等环节，请关注个人申请状态并及时查阅申请邮箱。
第二步：
上海大学于3月15日前完成材料初审、面试及学校奖学金评审，确定该项目候选人名单，发放中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目预录取通知书*。
注意：
1. 中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目预录取通知书不同于网申系统发放的电子版预录取通知书。上海大学仅向被提名的候选人通过邮件形式（liuyuan2020@shu.edu.cn)发送该通知书扫描件。
2. 未被提名为该项目候选人的申请人，可选择继续申报上海大学其他类别奖学金项目或自费项目。
第三步：
候选人于3月20日前完成中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统在线申请，申请网站为：
http://www.campuschina.org
上海大学机构代码为10280。
注意：
申请材料中请务必包含上海大学发送的中国政府奖学金高水平研究生项目预录取通知书。未按时完成在线申请的候选人，将被取消候选人资格。
第四步：
国家留学基金委根据“个人申请-院校推荐-专家评审-择优录取”原则，组织专家对候选人的学业成绩、综合素质、发展潜力等方面进行终审，并择优录取。
注意：未被录取的高水平研究生奖学金项目候选人，可选择继续申报上海大学其他类别奖学金项目或自费项目。
Step 1:
Applicants submit their applications to Shanghai University Online Application System (https://apply.shu.edu.cn) before February 15th, 2023.
It is advisable to apply as early as possible. The online application system of Shanghai University includes filling in personal information, uploading application materials, completing the online test, paying the application fee and so on. Please pay attention to your application status within the system, and check your email in time.
Step 2:
Shanghai University will complete the application material review, interview and scholarship evaluation before March 15th, confirm the list of candidates for the program, and issue the Pre-Admission Notice of Chinese Government Scholarship University Programs.
NOTICE：
1. The Pre-admission Notice of Chinese Government Scholarship University Program is different from the electronic pre-admission notice sent by the online application system. Shanghai University will only send a scanned copy of the Pre-admission Notice of Chinese Government Scholarship University Program to the nominated candidates via email (liuyuan2020@shu.edu.cn).
2. Applicants who are not nominated as candidates for this scholarship program may continue to apply for other scholarship programs or self-funded programs of Shanghai University.
Step 3:
Nominated candidates should submit their applications to the Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System
(http://www.campuschina.org )
before March 20th.Agent Number of Shanghai University is 10280.
1.The Pre-admission Notice of the Chinese Government Scholarship University Program sent by Shanghai University is required for application.
2.Candidates who fail to complete the application on time will be disqualified.
Step 4:
China Scholarship Council will organize experts to make the final evaluation on the candidates’ academic performance, comprehensive quality and development potential, and select the final scholarship recipient.
Candidates who are not admitted to the Chinese Government Scholarship University Program can choose to continue to apply for other scholarship programs of Shanghai University or self-funded programs.

其他注意事项
OTHERS

1. 奖学金申请者须直接向上海大学提交申请，不得通过中介机构提交申请材料，一经发现，取消奖学金申请资格；
2. 奖学金获得者须按照学校规定的时间办理报到、注册手续。未经批准而逾期不报到者，取消奖学金资格；
3. 奖学金获得者在开学报到时需提交所有申请材料的原件，如发现弄虚作假行为，将取消奖学金资格和入学资格；
4. 奖学金获得者须按照规定参加奖学金年度评审。评审不合格者，将被中止或者取消奖学金资格；
5. 奖学金获得者原则上不得变更学习专业及学习期限；
6. 奖学金招生政策由上海大学国际教育学院负责解释。
1. Scholarship applicants must submit their application materials directly to Shanghai University in person. These who apply by agencies will be disqualified from scholarship.
2. Scholarship recipients must complete the registration and enrollment on scheduled time in accordance with the university regulations. Those who miss the deadline without approval will be disqualified from scholarship.
3. Scholarship recipients must bring all original documents for registration. Provision of any false/ misleading information or failure to provide the requested supporting documents will lead to disqualification of admission.
4. Scholarship recipients are required to attend the annual scholarship review, which evaluates the academic performance and daily performance for the whole academic year. Those who fail to pass will lose their eligibility for the next year’s scholarship.
5. Scholarship recipients cannot change the major, or transfer to another University, or prolong the length of study in principle.
6. Those items shall be explained by the college of International Education, Shanghai University.
