2018年全国卷I书面表达体裁为应用文电子邮件,内容为回复外国朋友Terry的邮件,向其介绍在中国家庭做客方面的相关习俗。要求文中涵盖试题给出的三方面内容要点,即到达时间、合适的礼物和餐桌礼仪。该题型和内容设计紧密联系考生实际,但是,餐桌礼仪这个普通得再普通不过的日常小节反而在生活中被很多中学生忽略了。如果没有跨文化对比凝练出的思维品格和文化素养的意识,学生很难在短时间内写出中国老百姓的餐桌礼仪文化。

例如受邀赴宴客人可以准时到达但切忌过早到达。外地客人所带礼物常见为能体现客人当地特色的物品。但注意,传统的中国人收到礼物后一般不会当着客人的面打开。中国餐桌为圆桌,正对门的位置为上座,一般为长者位置。 中国人特别尊敬长辈,用餐时,需等长辈先动筷子。吃饭时不得发出声响,强调“食不语寝不言”等。中国地域广文化差异也很大,给予思维发散的考生提供了充分表达自己的空间和机会。

在宣传中国习俗文化的同时,对考生的跨文化意识、思维品质提出了更高的要求,鼓励考生站在外国人的角度讲中国习俗特色,积极调动语言,阐明事实,表明差异。

【思路点拨】

本文是一篇电子邮件类应用文写作。餐桌礼仪也是考生比较熟悉的话题。成文时注意以下几点:

一、内容要点要齐全:

1.到达时间;2.合适的礼物;3.餐桌礼仪。

二、时态:

主要用一般现在时和将来时;

三、人称:

第二、三人称。

四、注意使用恰当的高级词汇、短语或句型,以提高作文的水平;

五、适当使用一些连接词和插入语,使文章表达自然、流畅。

1. 浏览信息要点。

    Firstly, I would 1ike to suggest that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier, which is common in Chinese traditional culture. Secondly, if I were you I would bring some appropriate gifts with me, such as souvenirs from my own country. Besides, table manners are also what you should pay attention to. 【素材积累】

做客礼仪:

1. 预先约定一个时间以便对方事先作好安排。如果事先已经约定好了时间,就应遵守约定,准时到达,如需提早十分钟二十分钟之内可以接受,不要迟到,以免主人等候,也不要太早到,以免主人未作好准备。这是一个基本礼节问题。

2.如果有专属地域文化特色的礼物是最好的。如果朋友家有长辈,带点烟酒和茶叶或一些老人家用的保健品等;如果朋友家有小孩,带点儿童玩具或买箱牛奶,然后加点茶叶啥的;不要送钟、梨、伞等这些东西,被认为不吉祥。

3.主人会请客人入座上席,再请长辈入座客人旁。入座的时侯要从椅子的左边进入。在中餐结束时,筷子应整齐地放在靠碗右边的桌上,并应等客人们都放下筷子以后,主人示意离席后方可以离开,不能自己吃完了放下筷子就走,这样做是很没礼貌的表现。

【试题分析】

 2018年高考英语书面表达体裁为通知,替学校的“英语天地”邀请学生看英文短片Growing together。继2015年,2016年,2017年连续三年考查信件认识人写信之后,全国二卷考查了应用文中的另一典型体裁,内容为邀请电影相关的时间,地点的通知。学生对该题材和内容熟悉,对词汇的要求也相对基础。

纵观全国II卷英语书面表达,从题材上来讲,除了2014年考查了记叙文,十年中九年均考查了应用文,应用文占90%。所以考生在高考的英语写作的准备中应当把重心放在应用文上,熟练掌握英语应用文写作的几个相关专项,并且熟识高考英语基础词汇。

2009——2018年高考英语新课标卷II书面表达

【写作点拨】

英语书面通知的时态应该以一般将来时为主,多使用被动语态、简单句。在通知中不应当过度的使用较复杂的词语和读起来拗口的句子。

第二个注意点:层次一定要清晰,一个层次要表达一件事情,使人看起来一目了然。

I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses.  They looked really cool.

    In the afternoon, I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes, as long as my dad went with me. I wasn't going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. 读后续写要求考生首先要读懂已有信息,不仅能读懂字面含义,还要理清文章的脉络。续篇这篇短文时,考生要搞清楚故事的发展进程、前因后果、地理位置、人物思想情感的变化等。在此基础上,考生要顺着文章的思路,根据线索,发挥想象,对其后的情节进行合理预测,并用语言表达出来。

通过阅读所给文章可知,父亲带儿子去西部荒野的一个朋友家体验农场生活,见父亲和叔叔骑马,儿子也很想骑,于是亲身上马体验。

根据第一段所给首句Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.这一句是故事发展的转折点,可从rabbit出现后带来的反应扩展开,可以写马的反应,也可以写人的反应,但要注意与第二段首句相呼应。第二段首句是We had no idea where we were and it was getting dark.这一句呼应前文Uncle Paul的叮嘱——不要误吃晚饭,可从如何寻路返回农场去写。

续写时注意要使用5个以上短文中标有下划线的关键词语,我们要熟悉所给划线词语,恰当的时候加以运用。最后还要注意所续写短文的词数应为150左右;续写完成后要用下划线标出你所使用的关键词语。

 2.初步构思,考虑用词、短语、句型和时态。
在把握了文章的中心后,应在内心构思一个基本的框架,并考虑使用恰当的词语、短语和句型,以充分地表达文章的内容。本文是讲述上周发生的事情,故时态要以过去时为主,人称是第一人称,尽可能地充分利用所学的短语或句型来表述具体的内容。这是体现自身能力的重要一环。

Last week, we took the foreign students in our school to experience the authentic tea culture, which turned out be to extremely rewarding. 

On arriving at the tea house, the foreign students were impressed by the unique tea pots and tea cups. 【思路点拨】

今年作文仍然是读写作文,即先用30词概括阅读材料,然后针对材料中的话题写一篇议论文谈看法。首先要认真阅读两段有关消费排名现象及观点的纯文字材料,然后进行比较和分析,表明态度,作出价值判断。

文章首段要简要介绍两段材料,第一段材料为一对母子买旅行箱看了网上的评论,结果买回来的旅行箱质量很好。第二段材料为一帮人去餐馆吃饭,看了on-line rating,结果饭菜很不好吃,从而凸显出online rating的不靠谱。

然后写你对online rating的看法,表明观点,注意用2-3个论据来支撑自己的看法。

文章属于议论文,要注意主题句的使用,论点之间要注意有条理。文章可主要采用一般现在时,第三人称来写。

“My teachers”的作文题,乍一看仿佛是从初中就开始涉及的话题,会有一定的亲切感,但细细分析,同学们会发现今年英语作文的难度,不管是在文章形式还是文章内容上,都有了大幅的难度提升。从形式上而言,其虽然属于书信体,但脱离了同学们惯常所见的各种夹叙夹议类文体,其设定更加偏向于说明文。开头如何阐述?主体部分是否以对比形式呈现?最后又该如何收尾?这些都会对学生造成困惑。从内容上而言,My Teachers看似简单,但其对学生的要求实则不低。首先,将teachers具体分为几类,每类该如何命名和定义,其次,分类之后又该如何进行细节阐述。对于一个观察能力或归纳总结能力欠缺的学生而言,题目的要求必然令人手足无措。

一篇好的文章有三个评判维度:内容,语言,结构。语言是学生长期的积累结果,一般不会因为文章要求而发生变化,但内容的设定以及结构的布局则是考场作文必须关注的重点。2018年高考作文一定要注意以下几点:1.对于教师的分类一定要明确,不可含糊其词,杂糅交替;2.对于细节的阐述,一定要充分有条理,不可一两句话带过,也不可想起一点便任意写上,使整篇文章的内部凌乱不堪。将老师分类是第一层次,其次可将各类老师的具体特征按照教学方式,沟通方式等再具体分类阐述;3.对于分类阐述完成之后,一定要有自己的选择和之后的主题升华,将整篇文章的高度进行拔高,要体现观察之外的思考。

总之,今年的高考作文从单纯的思辨论证走向了对于话题的自身思考,让学生从提供分析的被动角色转换成探索的主动角色,对学生的素质能力提出了更高的要求。需要同学们在以后的学习里更多的去关注,去思考,去总结,形成自我对世界的认知。

My teachers

On the path of pursuing knowledge, numerous teachers we have encountered may have a lifelong impact on us, and even contribute to shaping who we are. Looking back on my school life, my teachers can be generally classified into three types: dedicated, approachable, and irresponsible.

Dedicated teachers are most popular among students not only because of their outstanding professional knowledge but also because of their devotion to the career of teaching. You can expect more than class time of them. They may have a face-to-face communication with you after class to enlighten you with a tricky math problem. They may sacrifice their family time to keep you company so that you can smooth your emotional problem caused by your own family. Needless to say, most teachers fall into this category.

The second type of teacher may seem less qualified in terms of their teaching skills, but they can also easily win students’ hearts because they can be entrusted with our deepest secrets. Childhood and adolescence are awkward periods when we struggle to explore our own way in the world. Our peers may be just as inexperienced as us while our parents seemingly live on another planet. So a friendly adult like approachable teachers can be a life saver.

We tend to be careful when labeling a teacher irresponsible, but they do exist. Some of them may have temper issue, while others may disregard their own job. One of my teachers fit the description, who was directly linked to my poor academic performance during his stint.

In the future, as my learning continues, I will have opportunities to meet more teachers. Whereas, never will I forget the assistance from my previous teachers or their passion for knowledge.
