AREP NEWS | AREP WAS AWARDED WITH THE WINNING PRIZE FOR THE CONCEPT PLANNING SCHEME OF BEIJING WEST "ONE LINE FOUR MINES" AND SURROUNDING AREAS PROJECT
近日,法国AREP设计集团与中国中建设计集团有限公司(牵头方)、北京戴德梁行咨询有限公司共同组成的联合体在北京市京西“一线四矿”及周边区域协同发展概念规划方案征集中喜提综合优胜奖。其中门头沟站片区方案荣获重要节点城市设计专项优胜奖。
为贯彻习近平生态文明思想,践行绿水青山就是金山银山理念,响应“双碳”战略号召,推动生态涵养区生态保护和绿色发展,保护好百年煤业工业遗存,促进区域协同发展,北京市门头沟区人民政府、北京市规划和自然资源委员会、北京能源集团有限责任公司联合组织发起了此次京西“一线四矿”及周边区域协同发展概念规划方案征集活动。
In order to implement Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization and practice the concept that clear water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains, promote ecological protection and green development of ecological conservation areas, protect the century-old coal industry remains, and promote regional coordinated development accordingly, Mentougou District People's Government of Beijing Municipality,Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources,Beijing Energy Holding Co., Ltd jointly organized the solicitation of the concept planning scheme for the coordinated development of "One Line Four Mines" in the west of Beijing and its surrounding areas.
“京西矿谷”总面积约99平方公里,涵盖四个矿区、十二个站点,规划提出“一线两核·两心八点”的空间结构,通过“重塑、传承、激活、共创”四大策略,打造奋斗之路。构建“轨道交通、生态环境、产业体系”三大基底战略,创建“工业遗产、户外运动、美丽家园”三大产业引擎,实现京西矿谷凤凰涅磐。
The Beijing West Mine Valley covers an area of about 99 square kilometers, with four mining areas and twelve sites. The plan proposes a spatial structure of "one line, two cores, two hearts and eight points". It offers the four strategies of "remodeling, inheritance, activation and co-creation". And constructs three foundational directions of "rail transit, ecological environment and industrial system". Led by the three industrial engines of "industrial heritage, outdoor sports, beautiful home" . Thus realizing Beijing West Mine Valley Paradise.
门头沟站
Mentougou Station
门头沟站既是门大旅游专线的起点,也是与北京市区的连接点,对整个河谷的再生将起到至关重要的作用。在设计之初,我们打破了红线范围的局限,在保留原有铁路遗址的基础上,形成多层次的立体城市公园;打造“云端栈道”,缝合城市空间。提供线性城市交往空间,实现火车、地铁、公交的无缝接驳。
Being both the starting point of the Men-Datouristic route, and the connection point with the Beijing urban area, Mentougou site will play a crucial role for the whole regeneration of the valley. The design concept comes from thinking beyond the red line. It keeps the historical railway and forms a multi-level three-dimensional urban park, creating a "cloud trestle road" and suturing the urban space. It provides linear urban communication space, and realizes the seamless connection of trains, subways and buses.

从设计的一开始,我们就对门头沟站的整个区域进行分析,以确定车站的位置。基地北侧相对开阔的用地和西侧相邻的范围较大且具有未来开发价值的现存小区,成为了车站枢纽综合体的最佳位置选择。
From the very beginning of the design, we analyzed the entire area of Mentougou station to determine the location of the station. The relatively open land in the north of the site with the adjacent current community in the west with rather large future development value offered the best location choice for the station hub complex.
位于新桥大道尽头的一个舒展轻盈的屋顶成为这个区域的视觉焦点,车站上飘逸的几片白色屋面也在城市界面中从视觉角度上强化了两条铁路的交汇点。一座“线上公园”向东和向北分别延伸至永定河边和九龙山脚下,向南延伸连接南侧的河边绿地,并且覆盖基地南侧的列车停车场。这座“线上公园”与原有地面层上沿铁路布置的线性公园及广场共同组成了一个多层次的立体城市公园。车站,商业综合体,线上公园,每一部分都有明确的分界,为项目分期实施提供可能性。
A stretch of light and graceful roofs at the end of XinQiao avenue becomes the focal point of the area, and the white roofed stations reinforce the intersection of the two railways in the city. An "online park" extends to the Yongding river in the east and the foot of Jiulong mountain in the north, connects the riverside green space in the south and covers the train parking lot in the south of the site. This "online park" forms a multi-level three-dimensional urban park with the original linear park and square along the railway on the ground. Station, commercial complex, online park, each part has a clear demarcation, allowing the project to be implemented in separate stages.
为打造一个以旅游为导向的城市交通节点,设计通过介入一定的商业体量,与新的车站及多式联运的换乘节点形成了一个城市交通枢纽综合体。同时,基地内的每个地块儿都可以形成一个小体量且功能复合的城市节点,并相互连接。
In order to create a successful and viable tourism hub, commercial functions needs to be closely integrated with the pedestrian flow of passengers and visitors.
总结
Conclusion
尽管项目的红线圈定了一个非常局限的枢纽用地,但我们还是希望通过对门头沟站及周围城市片区整体考虑,形成一个对未来门头沟发展最有利的提案。使其可以容纳大量的市民和游客,打造未来门头沟区极具吸引力的城市新节点、区域发展的重要引擎。
Despite high constraints in the physical space and in the planning process, Mentougou site can benefit from an incremental development without compromising the entire vision. It will become a demonstration zone for how rail infrastructure can be integrated in the city grain, become a major point of interest for locals and tourists alike, and drive future development.
王平站
Wangping Station
王平村煤矿建设投产于1958年,它曾经是我国建国初期国家大力支持发展第一产业时期建设的煤矿企业。随着环境保护的需要,王平煤矿于1994年正式停产关闭。煤田范围东到永定河边,西越过王平口直至木城涧矿,南到北岭十字道村,北过平安沟,总面积达13.5平方公里。
The Wangping Village Coal Mine was built and put into operation in 1958, in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, when the country was strongly supporting the development of the primary industry. Responding to the needs of environmental protection, Wangping Coal Mine was officially shut down in 1994. The coalfields area extends to the Yongding River in the east, crosses Wangpingkou to the Muchengjian Mine in the west, reaches Shishidao Village in Beiling in the south, and crosses Ping'an Valley in the north, with a total area of 13.5 square kilometers.
Challenges
首先,历史意义:王坪遗址有幸见证了中国第一个工业发展时代,具有标志性的天际线和多层次的煤炭基础设施。从各个层面上来看王平煤矿都是一个杰出的建筑遗产。
First of all, historical significance: Wangping site thankfully preserved an architecture bearing witness to the first industrial development era of China, an iconic skyline and a multi-level coal infrastructure. It is an outstanding built heritage.
其次,王平煤矿地处一个发展战略位置,俯瞰永定河,与一系列的上升阶梯地貌慢慢延展向山谷远处,为来往的游客提供了充满戏剧性的奇妙景观。
Secondly, its strategic location overlooking Yongding river as well as a series of ascending terraces slowly reaching toward the valley in the distance, offering dramatic andwonderful views to visitors.
第三,王平煤矿的交通现状比较局限。由于其远在远山深处,藏匿于各个小型村落后,从轨道和道路交通都很难轻易抵达。
The third is a limited transportation connectivity due to the mine site being far down in the mountains, hidden behind several small villages, difficult to access by road and train.
设计以零用地增长为准则作为项目的出发点,所有的项目功能都重新连接到王平的滨水区并与交通枢纽相连。
A net zero artificialisation of the land is guiding the regeneration of the site. All programs are reconnected with Wangping’s waterfront and directly connected to the transportation hub.
通过全息投影,实现人与工矿遗址的交互体验,重现工矿历史情景。游客享受一种身临其境的体验,沿着矿工进矿的原始路径认识到场地内的煤炭加工的流程。矿区的地面层和屋顶都被激活,通过廊桥相互连接。所有原煤炭产业建筑和廊桥等标志性建筑将得到各个程度的保护。
设计围绕核心区设置了一个再生景观公园,通过改造现有桁架搭建秀场,为当地居民和艺术工作室带来便利。一方面,充分利用既有的工业废墟打造室内和室外游乐场,另一边,在现有的村落中融入多功能综合活动设施,用于大型活动的举办(如婚礼,周末团建等)。
Surrounding the main core destination is a regenerated landscape park and restoredperformance area bringing amenities for local inhabitants, families and artist workshops. Indoor and outdoor playfields reuse the ruins of the industrial past. On the opposite side, avillage with integrated multi-purpose event facility can welcome large private events such as weddings, team-building outings etc.
Conclusion
通过一系列功能的植入和全新文保理念的引入,王平的更新将为区域带来全年的旅游吸引力。在回顾自身历史的同时,植入新的功能与生命,为市民提供更加多彩和有趣的城市生活。
Through a careful programming and heritage-led approach, Wangping’s regeneration will create a unique place to visit all year long. A place celebrating its past and reinventing itself with modern functions, varied and fun activities.
琉璃渠站
Wangping Station
琉璃渠站:承习传统琉璃厂建筑风格,局部更新玻璃材质,实现游客与自然的交互体验。延续琉璃渠古村街道格局,营建艺术家合院工坊、休闲商业街区,与琉璃渠金隅文创产业园联动,活化传统建筑,重现昔日商业盛景。
Liuliqu station inherits the traditional architectural style of the ancient colored glaze (“liuli”) factories, trademark of the village and partially updates the glazed materials to create an interactive experience between visitors and nature. Artists courtyard workshops and leisure & commercial blocks are in continuity with the Liuliqu ancient village street pattern, and link with Jinyu Cultural and Creative Industrial Park of Liuliqu, revitalizing the traditional buildings and resurrecting the commercial splendor of the past.
斜河涧站
Xiehejian Station
斜河涧站:利用狭长的高差变化设置站房,新建下穿门大线隧道作为进出站通道,设置游客服务中心。打造退台式山地景观,引导游客前往五号隧道游览。整体提升村庄风貌,打造阡陌纵横的世外桃源胜景。
Xiehejian station takes advantage of the long and narrow height difference to set up the station house, and a new undercrossing gate tunnel to provide access the station and set up a visitor service center. A mountain landscape in setback is created to guide tourists to visit no.5 mining tunnel. Overall, the concept aims to improve the appearance of the village and create a landscape of idyllic paradise crisscrossed by fields.
大台站
Datai Station
大台站:北部片区保留现状百年站房,局部更新为透明玻璃幕墙材质,利用大台斜坡打造天幕夜景影院。原有储煤池改造为红色铁路博物馆,屋顶设置花园平台,近距离观赏矿山遗址。南部矿区改造为运动主题乐园,大台煤矿办公楼升级改造为国际交流酒店。复原矿区空中连廊,重新建立南北慢行联系。
Datai station: the northern part of the site keeps the hundred years train station house as it is, with partial renovation of the transparent glass curtain wall material, and using the slope of the large platform to create an outdoor night cinema. The original coal storage pool is transformed into a railway museum, which roof is equipped with a garden platform for a close view of the mine ruins. The southern mining area is transformed into a sports theme park, and the public building into an international exchange hotel. The restoration of the sky corridor in the mining area re-establishes north-south slow mobility link.
木城涧站
Muchengjian Station
木城涧站:站前建筑群承担落客、集散、商业等功能。高架观景步道将集散广场与矿区遗址公园相连,俯瞰遗址、纵览群山。原矿区建筑通过适度改造修整,将作为森林康养基地,重新焕发光彩。巷道火车站,是木城涧与千军台之间巷道小火车的始发站,9.9公里的地下探秘之旅,由此开始。
Muchengjian Station:the buildings in front of the station bear the functions of drop-off, distribution and business. An elevated viewing walkway connects the gathering square to the minesite park. The original mining building will be used as a forest health base through moderate transformation and renovation. Laneway railway station is the starting point of small laneway trains between Muchengjian and Qianjuntai, where the 9.9-kilometer underground exploration begins.
千军台站
Qianjuntai Station
千军台站: 保留原有培训基地功能,利用森林资源,打造高端露营场地。以706平台作为深山大本营,为观光游客提供井下实景体验。利用场地现有建筑和机械设备,打造群山环抱、功能复合(巷道小火车站台、工矿设备展览、室外休闲餐厅)的活力交往空间。

- 通过对原有铁路及其车站的修复及与北京地铁的连通,打造公共交通绿网
- 将原有道路、小径和自行车道纳入新的慢性系统中,与景观系统融合考虑。进一步促进生物多样性和当地农业生产
- Prioritize public transportation, through the renovation of the old railway and its stations, and the interconnection with the Beijing city subway network
- Slow mobility for local tourism considers old paths and bicycle lanes linking sceneries and valorizing biodiversity and local agricultural production
- Net zero land artificialization is required for the 12 urban project zones around the renovated stations
Climat 气候
- 老矿区位于北京绿带,对于降低热岛效应起着重要作用
- The old mining valley is part of Beijing’s green belt and contributes to lower the urban heat island effect
