In this round of the race against COVID-19 in Guangzhou, numerous high-tech enterprises and institutions joined forces to give a hand to the frontline efforts with their respective cutting-edge technologies. Unmanned vehicles and drones deliver supplies to key areas

Unmanned buses and self-driving trucks deliver supplies into medium and high-risk areas, ensuring a sufficiency of necessary supplies for the isolated residents and effectively avoiding cross-infection among frontline staff at the same time.

Drones also play their part in this battle. They help to deliver medical supplies to the lockdown areas, work as "broadcasters" to promote anti-pandemic knowledge and mobilize people to do nucleic acid test orderly. In addition, they also serve as "supervisors" to prevent quarantined people from going out of their house for no reason.

Widespread use of robots in medical industry

Indoor temperature inspection robots and consultation robots work 24 hours a day to provide a series of services such as contactless temperature monitoring, mask monitoring, disinfection and sterilization, remote medical consultation and treatment. They contribute to relieve the pressure of frontline medical workers and reduce the risk of cross-infection. At present, medical robots can been seen in a lot of situations such as medical institutions, transportation hubs and communities.
