Why is the US unwilling to understand China's democracy?
The United States is putting together the so-called “Submit for Democracy” which triggered a hot debate as it monopolized the definition of democratic countries and drew division lines around the world.
While on December 4, China issued a white paper, highlighting democracy has different forms and should be judged by the people of a country, not dictated by certain countries.
As we know, the way people to perceive things and live their life is very much different from country to country. Should it be a one-and-only definition of democracy? How does democracy actually work in China?Why is the US unwilling to recognize China’s democracy?
