Pet care center for quarantined residents launched in Shenzhen
A new pet care center has begun trial operation in Shenzhen to standardize the management of pets for quarantined residents and to alleviate their concerns about these unattended family members.
Located in Guangming District of Shenzhen, the center covers an area of 8,500 square meters with a floorage of 1,500 square meters. The maximum capacity of pets such as dogs and cats will reach 300 after official operation.
The center is the first of its kind in China to cope with the problem of pet custody for isolated people. It will provide safe and secure pet custody services based on its core advantages in resources, management, and technology. It will guarantee the effective operation of the centralized custody and risk management of the pets during epidemic prevention and control periods.
