Our talented musicians in the orchestra performed a beautiful rendition of “Over the Rainbow” as a message of hope and light to the SSIS community during these trying times. As we ease our way back to normality, we are reminded that there is, indeed, light at the end of the lockdown tunnel.
The performance by Primary and Senior School students was led by strings teacher Ms Tinna QU and Primary Head of Aesthetics, Ms Bo Yi CHEN.
When days are dark
And times are tough
We take comfort
In knowing
We have each other
Alone we are strong
Together, we are stronger
Storms do not last forever
All dark clouds have a silver lining
When the rainbow appears
We know there is hope
And better is yet to come
Over the Rainbow was the soundtrack to the classic film, The Wizard of Oz. The SSIS Primary School will be taking their annual theatre performance - The Wizard of Oz – to the online stage on 15 June. Stay tuned for more information on this big production coming up!

在弦乐老师Tinna QU和小学部美育主任Bo Yi CHEN老师的带领下，小学和中学部的学生们共同演绎了这一经典曲目。
