CISB Proudly Welcomes Grade 8s Back to School

The faculty and staff of CISB were pleased to reopen for its Grade 8 students on May 11! 

CISB staff went above and beyond greeting the returning Grade 8 students while ensuring that all safety measures in accordance with Education Bureau requirements were met. 

Before those students' arrival, our teachers met last week to review safety procedures with highly trained medical professionals from Beijing United Family Hospital (BJU). CISB counselor Lylla Winzer was on hand to speak about helping these students maintain social and emotional wellbeing as they resumed their on-campus studies. 

Teachers and staff were thrilled to see these Grade 8 students in great health and spirits during their return today. Head of School and Superintendent Douglas K. Prescott says: "We are very excited to resume on-site classes for our Grade 8 students today. This on-site experience will include a combination of online and in class learning. Hopefully in the future we may be able to welcome other grades and students back to CISB. We are hopeful that our caring and safe environment will allow them to thrive during their return to our campus."
