本月末，宽带发展联盟发布了第11期《中国宽带速率状况报告》(2016年第一季度)。报告显示，2016年第一季度，我国固定宽带网络下载速率达到9.46Mbit/s，比2015年第四季度提升13.4%，已逼近10Mbit/s大关。网页浏览的首屏呈现时间和视频下载速率也保持了持续较快增长态势，而宽带接入速率符合度超过110%，持续保持在100%以上，变化相对平稳。
从区域情况看，全国有7个省级行政区域的平均下载速率已率先超过10Mbit/s。在直辖市和省会城市宽带速率排行榜上，上海、北京和成都位居前三甲，且共有11个城市平均下载速率已超过10Mbit/s,占所有参与排名城市的三分之一以上，表明我国中心城市宽带下载速率的“10M时代”即将到来。
一、魏则西之死将百度推向风口浪尖 涉事医院未回应

这两天，一篇关于搜索和医院的网文，在各大社交平台刷屏。被查出患有“滑膜肉瘤”这种罕见病的大学生魏则西，辗转多家医院，病情不见好转。后通过百度搜索找到武警北京总队第二医院，在花光东凑西借的20多万元后，仍不幸去世。魏则西生前曾在知乎撰文，详述此次经过，并称这种生物免疫疗法，在国外早已因为“效率太低”而被淘汰了。而据报道，涉事医院也并没有如宣传中那样，与斯坦福医学院有合作。
网友对百度与医院提出质疑，称百度对医疗广告审查不严，武警北京总队第二医院相关科室系被私人承包。
目前，百度公司已就此进行了两次紧急回应，称魏则西去世之后，立即联系则西爸爸进行慰问和哀悼。但则西爸爸在接受媒体采访时表示，从未接到过百度公司的电话。而武警北京总队第二医院目前还未就此事发声。
二、杜蕾斯也加入直播大军：“百人试套”引网友差评吐槽

26日晚，以打擦边球做广告著称的安全套品牌杜蕾斯展开一场声势浩大的百人试套直播活动，在B站、乐视、斗鱼等多家在线直播平台，获得全网超过五百万人同时在线观看，但网友表示，无限期待和三个小时坚持不懈最后只看到个屁。此外，在直播的过程中屏幕上出现明显“replay”字样，也被不少网友质疑这样一个长达三个小时视频并非直播而就是播放了一个已经录制好了的广告。
三、62人借“网络关键词”骗8000余万

中网互赢公司62名员工在总经理的带领下，以公司名义在签订、履行关键词网络服务合同过程中，谎称是工信部下属单位，虚构有他人抢注或有买家高价收购等事实，诱骗259名被害人在该公司完善关键词网络资源，购买付费业务，骗取钱款共计8000余万元。4月21日起，市一中院开庭审理此案，昨天是庭审的第6天，62名被告人全部出席庭审。据了解，该案是建国以来涉案人数最多的合同诈骗案件。

MSN中文网是资讯门户网站，同时也是连接微软互联网服务产品的平台。
2013年3月15日，微软在除中国内地之外的全球范围内关闭了即时通讯软件MSN Messenger，用Skype作为替代产品， 2014年10月31日，MSN Messenger也从中国市场退休。
五、传百度副总裁王湛因损害公司利益被开除

5月1日消息，今天有消息称，百度副总裁王湛因违反职业道德、损害百度利益而被开除。网易科技向百度方面求证，对方表示不做回应。
根据截图的内容显示，王湛因违反职业道德，损害百度利益，2016年4月29日是其在百度的最后工作日。此外，百度仍然对王湛的贡献表示了肯定。
六、UC浏览器升级新媒体平台 高晓松、黄磊已入驻

In February, YouTube came under heavy criticism from some of its most popular creators for denying them revenue whenever a copyright claim was made against one of their videos. In many cases those videos were found to have made fair use of copyrighted material, but only after weeks of back-and-forth discussions. As a result, popular creators including Channel Awesome, Eli the Computer Guy, and Alternate History Hub stopped earning money while their videos garnered thousands of views. Today YouTube relented, announcing it would let videos under dispute earn revenue until the conflicts are resolved.

Twitter just had a no good, very bad quarter where it missed revenue numbers and despite beating user growth numbers, is still idling at around 310 million active users. In its earnings call, CEO Jack Dorsey repeated his message that Twitter is all about what's happening live. So thematically, switching from social to news makes a bit of sense: Twitter is where you go to get information. For many users, Twitter is more about reading what other people have to say and watching what other people do than it is about participating themselves.

Tinder, the dating app notorious for translating physical attraction into the swipe of a single fingertip, has launched a group dating feature. Tinder Social has been rolled out on a trial basis in Australia, but has been met with alarm after users realised the new feature exposes Facebook friends that also use the app.
In a blog post announcing the launch of Tinder Social, the company presents the function as a means to meet people on a platonic basis, promising to take “an average night out with your friends to the next level”.
