李颖春，同济大学建筑学学士、硕士，香港大学建筑历史与理论方向哲学博士，现为同济大学建筑与城市规划学院副教授，Built Heritage《建成遗产（英文）》创刊执行编辑。近年来通过“租界研究再出发”、“20世纪的新村”和“最后的老城厢”等研究课题，尝试日常生活视角下城市建成环境的历史书写。研究论文发表于《建筑师》、《时代建筑》、《建筑遗产》、Planning Pespectives, Journal of Architecture等中外学术期刊，并担任思南书局《寻厢》、上生新所《理想之地》等学术展览的策展人。
讲座简介
现代性作为一个理论议题，缘起于19世纪后半叶西方知识界对“当下”的认知和反思，随后成为一种统摄性的观念形态，主导了20世纪至今的建筑历史书写。本次讲座追溯了20世纪80年代以来，在后现代和后殖民理论思潮影响下，西方世界对“非西方”现代建筑史的书写历史，兼论其对中国建筑史研究的影响。讲座指出，随着现代性概念的全球化，其最初的“典范性”逐渐被“代表性”所取代，造成了这一概念本身的碎片化、矛盾性和整体目标的失效。因此，未来的建筑史写作当走出现代性范式的“望远镜”，回到日常性的身体经验，将认知和反思“具体的当下”重新作为目标。
The theoretical issue of modernity originated from the self-conscious cognition and reflection of "the present" of the Western intellectuals in the second half of 19th century. It then became a dominant ideology, leading the narratives of architectural history in the 20th century. This lecture traces the historiography of "non-Western" modern architectural history initiated in the Western scholarship since 1980s under the influence of post-modern and post-colonial discourses. It also discusses its influence on the research of Chinese architectural history. The lecture points out that with the globalization of the concept of modernity, its initial function of being "canonical" has been gradually replaced by being "representative", which resulted in the fragmentation, contradiction and invalidation of the aim of the concept. The lecture argues for the exodus from the "telescope" of modernity paradigm, returning to the everyday experience in the real world, and rediscovering the integrated aim for the cognition and reflection of “the present.”
