2016年，联合国《世界幸福指数报告》评选丹麦，为世界上最幸福的国家。
According to “World Happiness Report 2016” released by UN, Denmark being the happiest country in the world.
为了寻找幸福MATSU & 比利时设计团队Dirk Wynants合作设计了“哥本哈根”，以丹麦首都为名的办公家具系统。
Now, in order to fill the office withmore happiness, MATSU collaborated with Belgian designing team, Dirk Wynants, to develop the office furniture system called “Copenhagen”, the name of capital city of Denmark.
到底，丹麦有何魔力？就连作为世界霸主美国都想变成丹麦。
Whatever magic in Denmark makes America, a super power in the world, want to also turn itself into this country?

💰 有钱但不显摆
虽然平均每天工作6小时，丹麦却仍是个富足的国家。丹麦人均年国民生产总值过6万美元，超过同期美国（同期人均收入美国5.44万美元，中国仅7572美元）。
Rich but humble
Each day, Danes work for 6-7 hours averagely. Denmark is an affluent country. Per Capita GNP in Denmark exceeded USD60,000, ranking the sixth worldwide (while during the same period, that of USA is USD54400 and that of China is only USD7572)
但是丹麦是一个“谈钱伤感情”的国度，丹麦人不谈“钱”，他们和你聊文化、谈历史，说艺术。如果在丹麦结交朋友之时，你打探“在哪里上学，在哪里就职，房子在哪里，车子什么牌子”这些问题，他们会认为你很无趣。不像号称世界霸主的美国与高速发展的中国，这些都是个体社会身份的象征。
Denmark is a country in which people prefer topics about culture, history and art, instead of “money”. In Denmark, when you want to make friends with others, you’d better avoid boring questions like “what school are you in; where do you work; where is your house; or what’s your car brand”. People in America, the super power in the world, and in China, a country with fast development in all aspects, are generally interested in such kind of questions because they stand for social identity.

因为环保、健康，丹麦人有钱也骑车。在地处北欧比较寒冷的气候条件下，甚至每年有几个月极夜，他们男女老少仍然自愿骑自行车。觉悟很高吧！
Cycling, in all weathers
In Denmark, even the rich like cycling for the sake of protecting the environment and keeping healthy. Living in cold weather of Northern Europe, people of all ages in Denmark still fancy cycling regardless of months of Polar Nights. How amazing!

What surprises us most is their invention of Cargo bike. Isn’t it the transformation of tricycle but with the basket ahead?

While in America and China, people don’t care about dreams. “dream car” and “dream house” are all people want. Everyone keeps chasing after cars and houses. In big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, terrible traffic jams and numerous skyscrapers are telling us how crazy people are.

🏪 上大学就发钱
在丹麦如果选择上大学，国家每个月补贴6000克朗（相当于6000人民币）。并且，学生们可以依据自己的兴趣爱好自由选择专业，从不会在家长、社会的裹挟下，选择金融或是土木工程等所谓热门行业。因为他们的福利制度可以让其后顾无忧。
Subsidiaries for college life
The Danish government will grant a monthly subsidy of DKK6,000(equivalent to CNY6,000) to its college students. The students may choose majors at their options without having to consider future employment, as their public welfare system makes them worry-free and peace-of-mind.

丹麦早于1989年就通过了《民事结合法》，成为世界首个支持同性婚姻的国家。
Denmark promulgated its Civil Union Bill early in 1989, becoming the first country worldwide to support homosexual marriage.

Denmark is known as the world’s least corrupt country. According to the Corruption Perceptions Index 2015 released by Transparency International, Denmark turned out to be the first winner for consecutive 4 years.

Making delicious cuisines are challenging in cold places. However, a Michelin Three-star Restaurant in Copenhagen, Geranium once made Gao Xiaosong addicted to tasting their 23 cuisines from 7pm to 1am! People can’t help dreaming about being a foodie in Denmark.

Panel workstation was the first reform, and open working positon was the second, and Copenhagen will be the third one. Open workstation doesn’t mean everything. Copenhagen worked out a solution for the relativity of office privacy and openness.
