香港中文大学（深圳）关于新学期延期开学有关安排

全体同学：

根据新型肺炎疫情的防控形势及《广东省人民政府关于企业复工和学校开学时间的通知》，就新学期延期开学有关安排，学校研究决定：

一、推迟2019—2020学年春季学期开学日期，不早于2月24日开学，具体开学日期另行通知。

二、自1月28日17时起至大学具体开学日期公布前，现在身在校外的学生，包括本科生，硕士研究生及博士研究生，一律严禁返校。有特殊情况需要帮助的，务必提前一天向书院提出申请，经学校回复同意后，才可进入校园。

三、登记过留校过节的同学和国际生因特殊原因需短时间外出（12小时以内），须提前一天向书院办公室递交书面申请并获准。不经批准外出或外出12小时及以上者视为离开校园，在开学前不得再次入内。

Notice on Postponement of Spring Semester

Dear students:
Subject to the current situation regarding the novel coronavirus, the following decisions have been made in line with the requirements of Guangdong and Shenzhen governments:
I. The spring semester 2019-2020 will start no earlier than February 24th. Please wait for further notice of the specific starting date. 2. Students who are currently away from the campus, including undergraduate and postgraduate students, are strictly prohibited from returning to the campus before the semester begins. Under special circumstances in need, application must be submitted to the college at least one day in advance, and entrance is permitted only after approval by the university.
3. Students currently residing on campus must submit written application to the college office and wait for approval if they need to leave the campus for a short period (within 12 hours) due to compelling reasons. Anyone leaving the campus for more than 12 hours or without proper application and approval will not be allowed to enter the campus until the semester begins.
Under the current unusually difficult circumstances, your understanding and support will be much needed and highly appreciated.
