很荣幸新氧艺O2art空间将于4月25日举办艺术家司博闻的个展——《物种园中的人》。司博闻的近作对“存在”、绘画与当下现实的关系构成了一系列新的思考实验。作品中的身体和场景都取材于“日常”，但艺术家在画面中将身体和场景陌生化，将这些“日常”瞬间在绘画空间中截取、重塑，而在这个过程中，这些来自“日常”的切片又在虚构的画面空间中重新获得了一种在意义上的抽象和自由。在每一幅作品的创作中，司博闻的感知与哲学式的提问，与其扎实的写实功底和绘画“习惯”之间进行协商、取舍、求和。笔触、造型在局部的确凿与模糊，所追求的不是风格和情绪的表达，而是整个绘画空间在意义上的开放性。
We are honored to announce the opening of “In the Garden of Species — Si Bowen Solo Exhibition” on April 25th in O2art. His recent works are a series of new thinking experiments on the relationship between “existence”, painting and reality. The bodies and scenes in the works originate from “daily life”, but the artist has defamiliarized them, intercepting and reshaping these “daily life” moments in the pictorial space. In this process, those slices from “daily life” have regained a sense of abstraction and freedom in the fictitious space. In the creation of each work, there is a negotiation, a selection, and making of peace between his perception and philosophical questions, and his solid realistic skills and painting “habits”. The accuracy or vagueness of the brushwork of details aims for the openness of the whole painting space, rather than the expression of style and emotions.

艺术家司博闻相邀几位同在北京城市长大，接受相同艺术训练的好友。从“物种园中的人”引发在以北京城市为参照物，展开对自我辨识和被辨识的思考。展览大部分作品都是探讨人的本质、人与时间空间的关系。大家同为当今城市“物种园”中的人，从年少时的艺术教育到成年后职业的分水岭，一起畅谈在不同职业环境中的自我定位以及对外在世界的探索和疑问。
嘉宾简介
司博闻
1989年生于北京，现生活工作于北京。2011年毕业于中央美术学院，曾赴法国勒芒美术学院做交换生。
耿珅
毕业于传媒大学动画系，现北京电视台编导。
黄臣
电影海报设计师，曾参与设计《叶问4》、《红海行动》等电影的海报设计工作。
王潭
毕业于中央美术学院和伦敦大学金史密斯学院、艺术写作者、现任英国国家图书馆（大英图书馆）东亚部数字化项目经理。

The artist Si Bowen invited his friends who grew up in Beijing and received the same art training. From the "In the garden of species" lead to the thinking of self-identification and identification with Beijing city as reference. Most of the works in the exhibition are about the nature of man, the relationship between man and space. All of us are the people in today's urban "garden of species". From art education in youth to career choices in adulthood is a watershed, we will talk about our self-positioning in different professional environments and our exploration and questions in the world.

Si Bowen
Born in Beijing in 1989. Now Lives and Works in Beijing. He graduated from the oil department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Exchange student at Academy of fine art Le Mans (France).
Geng Shen
He graduated from the animation department of Communication University of China. Now working as director of BTV.
Huang Chen
Film poster designer, he has been involved in the design of "Ip Man4", “Operation Red Sea" and other films poster design work.
Wang Tan
She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and University of Goldsmith University of London. Art critic, Current Digital Project Manager, Department of East Asia, The British Library.
