新氧艺O2art798空间，将于2023年1月14日推出“光阴：孙彦初 & 晚灯：黄晓亮”双个展。两位艺术家不约而同地将作品的主体时间引至夜晚，用超越日常经验的视觉效果为我们构建出独特的记忆与认知。
孙彦初在作品中探索着绘画与摄影的中间地带，他将摄影的化学药剂作为自己的绘画媒介，凭借多年来的经验与直觉用显影液涂绘形象，经过时间的引渡与催化，将奇幻的“臆想”在相纸上光绘呈现。在展览“光阴”所呈现的作品中，“月”几乎无处不在，显影液特殊的色彩属性为作品笼上一层昏黄的墨色基调，在明胶卤化银的流动里，逐渐呈现出斑驳柔暖的夜空、层叠流动的山色和失落的梦境…
而黄晓亮所关注的始终是最普通的日常生活，老城的街道，生活的痕迹，一切都是有关人间的景像。“晚灯”中的作品源自于艺术家日常照片中有关夜晚的部分，个体与社会的碰撞在夜色的修饰之下让人浮想联翩，黄晓亮将纪实照片通过数字绘画的方式进行描摹，只保留剪影下的微妙情绪，经过转印拍摄的影像处理，最终产生了现实与描摹间的生动距离。昼夜交替时的浓郁色彩与光影对比为鲜活的人间烟火增添了朦胧的幻觉记忆。
Sun Yanchu’s Time Goes By & Huang Xiaoliang’s Evening Light
O2art will present the joint solo exhibition “Sun Yanchu’s Time Goes By & Huang Xiaoliang’s Evening Light” from January 14th, 2023 in its 798 space. The two artists spontaneously take nighttime as the theme of their works, constructing unique memories and cognition for us with visual effects beyond our daily experiences.
Sun Yanchu explores the intermediate zone between painting and photography in his works. Taking chemical agents of photography as his painting medium, he makes images using photographic developer with years of experiences and intuition. After being rendered and catalyzed by time, imagined fantasies are presented on photo papers through light painting. In Time Goes By, “moon” can be found almost everywhere. The works are covered by a dim inky tone because of the special color properties of photographic developer; in the flow of gelatin silver halide, the mottled and mildly blurred night sky, flowing mountains and lost dreams are gradually revealed...
Meanwhile, Huang Xiaoliang always pays attention to the most ordinary daily life, the streets in old towns and the traces of life; all is about the scene of human life. Works of Evening Light are derived from the part about night in the artist’s daily photos, where the collision between individuals and the society evokes imagination under the curtain of night. Huang Xiaoliang traces documentary photos through digital painting, keeping only the subtle emotions under the silhouettes. After the images are being processed and transferred, a vivid distance between reality and depiction is finally generated. The intense colors and light-shadow contrast at the turn of day and night add hazy illusions to the living human world.

O2art was founded in 2011. It’s an organisation that focuses on promoting and managingcontemporary professional artists. It has independently curated many group exhibitions aswell as solo exhibitions, with artworks in various media including paintings, sculptures, installations, photography and so on. Now O2art has two spaces located in 798 Art Zone and O2art Online Project Studio in Shunyi central villa area. O2art will continue to follow up artists’ career and creation development, and become a strong part of China’s contemporaryart community.
