Jerusalem celebrates 50 years to its unification. 80 000 revelers at "The Flag-Dance Parade" throughout Jerusalem. Official ceremonies and festivities as the capital celebrated Wednesday the 50th anniversary of its reunification in the 6-Day War.

Life expectancy in Israel- one of the highest in the world

The World Health Organization published its main report on the health statistics, according to which Israel's average life expectancy is at the top, both among men and women. Data pertaining to medical services are very good as well—placing Israel low on the scale of deaths caused by serious diseases. Average between men and women is 82.5 years. (Men 80.6 and women 84.3).

Archaeologists discover lost Crusader treasure

They found a shipwreck, gold coins and even an ancient order of knights. Haifa University marine archaeologists, including Professor Michal Artzy and Dr. Ehud Galili, recently discovered a sunken 13th century Crusader ship. Well, the remnants of one. They uncovered the ship's keep, a bit of the hull and some wooden planks.
