IAI test LORA successful

IAI成功测试LORA导弹

Long Range Artillery (LORA) missile was successfully fired at a target 400 km at sea.Israel Airspace Industry's LORA is a focus at this week's Paris Air Show 2017. Boaz Levi, Executive VP and GM of Missiles & Space Group: "This was one of the most complex trails we held over the past few years and a technological breakthrough for IAI's missile development operations.   

以色列航空工业公司（IAI）在其网站上发布消息称，IAI公司已经成功完成了LORA导弹的测试。LORA是一种用固体火箭推进的短程战术弹道导弹。LORA远程火炮系统属“模块化”武器：拆掉M270多管火箭炮发射车一侧的6套发射管，换上另一套装置，即可发射LORA导弹，射程超过300公里。导弹与空间集团执行副总裁兼总经理Boaz Levi说到：“这是在过去几年中我们测试过最复杂的导弹路径，这在IAI导弹发展行动的技术有所突破。”

Fighting drug resistance bacteria

特殊DNA运输技术或可有效攻克耐药性细菌的感染

A breakthrough technology from Tel Aviv University makes it possible to manipulate pathogens by delivering DNA into drug-resistant bacteria to neutralize their lethal activity.The new method, called MDK99, for killing 99 % of the bacterial tolerance.

Instead of fighting the drug, these bacteria sleep through its presence, only dying when they wake up.

来自以色列特拉维夫大学的研究人员通过研究成功促进DNA运输到耐药性细菌病原体中，从而就能够有效对病原菌的耐药性进行操控。将DNA运输到病原菌中来中和病原菌的致死活性；单一类型的噬菌体能够适应多种类型的细菌，因此其或许能够作为一种创新性的工具来帮助研究人员加速开发治疗耐药性细菌感染的潜在药物。

Huge aquarium open in Jerusalem

The new aquarium in the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem includes thousands of fish and marine creatures.The 7000 sq/mtrs tank is divided according to the 3 seas of Israel: the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Dead Sea.Took 4 years, $285 million (half of it donated by the Guttman family from NY) and will enable visitors to see also The vast array of sea life from 20 countries.

10 Israeli defense companies take part in the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France.They display their wares to armies, police forces, and security agencies.Terrorism in Europe is creating opportunities for deals with Israeli experts. Israeli defense exports to Europe totaled $1.8 billion in 2016, out of Israel's total of $6.5 billion in defense exports.
