Alexandria Sinagogue back to former Glory

The Egyptian ministry of Antiquities’ approved the funds for restoring the 160 years old Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue in Alexandria. The Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue can seat over 700 people and is considered to be one of the largest synagogues in the Middle East.
