Chinese massive investments in Israeli green-tech

An Israeli delegation headed by Environmental Protection Minister Zeev Elkin is in China with Israeli firms that specialize in green tech and Chinese companies looking to invest hundreds of millions of dollars; Delegation members met with 160 Chinese companies in Beijing and Nanjing.Initial agreements have already been drafted between the Israeli and Chinese firms.

Incoming tourism up 24%

2.3 million Tourists entered Israel in January-August 2017, 24% more than in the same period last year.The incoming tourism has contributed $3.4 billion to the economy so far this year.In 2017, Developers are constructing new 5245 hotel rooms. 100 000 tourists from China will come to Israel this year, 66% more than last year.

First Temple era engravings discovered

大卫城发现第一圣殿时期印章

Rare collection of seals and relics from the First Temple period, shedding light on Jerusalem's administrative systems and civil service workers at the time, on display this week;  Dozens of ancient seals were unearthed in the City of David, adjacent to the Dung Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. The finds bear witness to the developed administration of the city in the First Temple period.

New school of Medicine

Ariel大学医学院成立

Ariel University recently laid cornerstone for a new medical school.  The $28 million facility, donated by Dr. Miriam and Sheldon Adelson, will vastly enhance Ariel’s current pre-med program and 30 research labs. Currently, 4000 students are studying medicine at Israel’s five medical schools.

Energiya Global plans to invest $1 billion over the next 4 years to advance green power projects across 15 West African countries. It is part of a MOU signed between Israel and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
