PM Netanyahu left Thursday evening to Brazil, to attend the inauguration of Jail Bolsonaro who said he wants to upgrade ties with Israel and move the country’s embassy to Jerusalem. Brazilian president Jail Bolsonaro; " I look forward to the visit of PM Netanyahu. We will meet and discuss new directions for our nations. Expectations are the best for this unprecedented moment in our history,”This is the first-ever visit of an Israeli PM to Brazil, the world’s 5TH most populous country and the world’s 8TH largest economy. With a Jewish population of 120,000, the 2ND-largest Jewish community in Latin America and the 9TH-largest Jewish community in the world.

Qatar to welcome Israeli fans for World Cup

Qatar is preparing to host Jews and Israelis during the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition. Appointed Rabi Marc Schneier to serve as an adviser with regards to matters relating to hosting Jewish fans and arrangements to supply kosher food and places of prayer.
卡塔尔正准备在2022年FIFA世界杯比赛期间接待犹太人和以色列人。官方任命Rabi Marc Schneier担任顾问，负责管理犹太球迷以及提供犹太食品和祈祷场所的安排。
Annual "Christmas Run"

In Miilya and Fasuta, Christian towns in northern Israel, 1,200 runners of all ages arrive to run dressed as Santa Claus; Christmas festivities filled the population with joy as crowds of revelers donned Santa costumes to run through its narrow streets while spectators jingled bells to cheer them on. Israel has welcomed 150 000 Christian pilgrims and tourists celebrating the Christmas holiday in Israel, taking part in the festivities at Christianity’s holiest sites. Christian population celebrates the yuletide season along with thousands of Israelis and foreign tourists on the decorated streets of Nazareth and Jerusalem. With traditional processions, colorful decorations, multiple Santa Clauses, family dinners and of course presents under the tree.

Hotel overnights keep rising

The trends in the Israeli hotel industry continued in November. The number of tourist overnights is increasing; Foreign tourist overnights totaled 10.7 million in January-November, 9% more than in the corresponding period last year.
以色列酒店业的趋势在11月继续升温。因旅游住宿酒店的数量正在增加; 1月至11月外国游客在以色列酒店过夜总数为1070万人次，比去年同期增加9％。
Biblical city of Sodom located

Archaeologists Phillip Silvia of Trinity Southwest University and team excavating the city of Tall el-Hammam believe it to be the biblical city of Sodom, destroyed some 3,700 years ago by a meteor blast.

Driverless Shuttles on University Campus

Bar Ilan University is launching an autonomous shuttle service on campus. A pilot will operate in February and March and will be offered to students as of April. This electric vehicle carries 11 sitting passengers plus 5 standing at a speed of up to 45 km/h.

2018 record year for M&As in Israel

2018 had been a peak year for the Israeli economy, with the volume of Mergers and Acquisitions rose 77% to $21.6 billion. Plus exceptional deals of over $15 billion (Mobileye, Mazor…).

Israeli spacecraft ready for moon launch

Israel will be the 4TH country, after the US, Russia and China, to carry out a controlled "soft" landing of an unmanned vessel on the moon. SpaceIL aim to launch the 585 kg Beresheet (Genesis) which carries a device to measure the moon's magnetic fields.

UK army deploys Rafael's Drone Dome at Gatwick airport

"Daily Mail" reports; The British army has deployed an anti-drone system developed by Israeli Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to protect London's Gatwick airport; Deployment of the Drone Dome ended 36-hours in which flights were unable to land or take off at Gatwick airport, due to a rogue drone intruding into the airport's airspace.

First image from Sun’s atmosphere

NASA’s first image captured within the Sun’s atmosphere on November 8 was taken with the help of Israeli-engineered sensors made by TowerJazz.
The Drone Dome developed by Rafael provides 360-degree protection against drones.
