International Youth Community is exactly what are you looking for ！

We invite you to be a part of everything our community will be offering!

The intention to build the International Youth Community is to establish a community for students who’s passionate of other countries and cultures. Through our residential life, community meetings, extracurricular activities as well as international exchange program, we intend to help students to improve their all-round English ability by immersing in an exclusive English environment.

The long-term goal of International Youth Community is to broaden students’ international vision and to improve their intercultural communication competence. At present, we are mainly focus on creating the English speaking and learning atmosphere in order to help students develop their English communication skills.

We are excited to announce that more international students will be joining us in the near future. In the coming years, your roommate may come from the USA, or they may be an exchange student from the UK. They could potentially be from any major or country!

We have plenty of activities prepared for you, such as the English Salon and the Model UN Workshop. You can share your thoughts and ideas with your foreign friends. You will be growing and learning together in this multicultural community.

You will also have the opportunity to experience fantastic costume parties, the interesting egg painting events, and many other amazing activities here. If you want an immersive English environment, this is the place for you.

If you want to know more about our International Youth Community, please read the following admission requirements carefully.

For the students who are already living in IYC and intend to stay in：

You need to keep your English learning habits, take active part in the community activities, and adapt to the environment as soon as possible.

This year, the International Youth Community will focus on enhancing the community life environment, improving the community counselors’ English level, creating more after class activities, and revising the students’ admission policy. We try to provide a more professional learning experience for students in the IYC.

Meanwhile, for the students who still live in the International Youth Community but have no more interest in learning English：

We advise you to consult the other communities to find your true belonging for your own academic development and personal growth. You may find your perfect fellow there.

For the students who interested in applying to join the IYC, in the circumstance with enough accommodation, you need to satisfy the following terms：

1. Students from international classes can apply directly to join IYC;

2. Other students who wants to join IYC need to attend an English Test reviewed by IYC instructors. We will select the candidates based on the test scores, and allocate a proper place for them in IYC.

Rome was not built in a day.

IYC will keep talent cultivation objectives firmly in mind and provide an International learning growth platform for the students who joined us.
