Triple Gymnastics Center

Triple Gymnastics Center (TGC) is a non-profit organisation that aims to inspire young children to have an early appreciation of gymnastics and to provide schools and clubs with the know-how on setting up the necessary infrastructure. The group was founded by gymnastics coaches and sports administrators who coach or work with international schools in Beijing.  

Class pricing: 

Trial classes for a one hour class costs 150RMB; a package of 30 classes cost 5,200RMB 

Trial classes for a 1.5 hour class costs 225RMB;  a package of 50 classes cost 7,800RMB 

Trial classes for a two hour class costs 300RMB; a package of 70 classes cost 10,800RMB

Flips and Kicks 

Get ready to see the kids in action with Flip and Kicks’ Gymnastics and Martial Arts classes. Flips and Kicks provides a stimulating environment for children that help encourage a love for the sport while improving and developing their physical condition, coordination, concentration, self-esteem and confidence. Sports programs are taught in English by their qualified international staff.

DragonFire Club 

The DragonFire Club is an international sports club that provides opportunities for students to develop their skills in swimming, gymnastics, ballet and hip-hop. Its gymnastics classes are currently at two locations: at the Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) and at the Western Academy of Beijing (WAB). Classes are all for kids 4.5 and up. Prices for Level 1 and 2 from 200RMB per class and Level 3 to 5 from 300RMB per class.  Discounts apply the more classes you purchase.

Sports Beijing 

Sports Beijing is a sports community that provides both recreational programs and development programs that aims to provide quality sports for the youth of Beijing. Sports Beijing currently promotes twelve different activities and martial arts including aikido, baseball, basketball, gymnastics and more. For their gymnastics classes, interested students can apply mid-semester and will be charged on a pro-rated fee based on the number of sessions remaining for their chosen class.

Gymboree 

Anyone who assumes only big kids can do flips should check out Gymboree. Its classes

emphasise the importance of exposing young children to a variety of physical activities within a safe environment. Gymboree believes that even at a young age, children can grow their logical and social skills through appropriate exposure to physical activities and child-led play. They pride in the many kid-friendly types of equipment they have that can encourage little children to do activities such as bravely hanging on low banisters or daring to flip or tumble (with the help of their parents or guardians, of course!)

Gymboree currently has 28 locations across Beijing, but the Fortune Mall branch by Jintaixizhao is the biggest and most popular one not just in Beijing but also in the whole of Northern China (and has a good number of expat clients, according to their salesperson). Package prices are the same across the different Beijing branches; trial classes are free.
