Where to find Santa in Beijing
It's Christmas, and that means that good 'ol Saint Nick is coming back this season. And if your kids are looking forward to finding the jolly old man and the presents he has in store, we've tracked down some of his upcoming locations. Don't worry kids, we've got you covered.
Beijing City International School (BCIS)
Looking for Santa? You'll find him at BCIS' annual Christmas bazaar. This year's event is a collaboration with Roundabout and sees the international school hosting the Roundabout's second International Craft Bazaar. The event will see over 70 Christmas shopping stalls, live music and performances, Christmas tree lighting, Santa Claus, raffle draws and handicraft activities prepared for the whole family. While the event is open to all, non-BCIS community members need to bring photo ID to gain access to the campus.
Ever met a Filipino Santa? Well, here's your chance. For an event where art, culture, and Christmas collide, join the Filipino community group Kusina ni Kabayan (KnK, or Kitchen of my Countrymen) at their second Krismas sa Pinas Philippine-style Christmas Party. With paintings from Joy El International Academy students to add colour to the festivities, the launch of the group's first-ever Philippine cookbook Kain na, Kabayan! (Countrymen, let's eat!), Christmas tree lighting, carols from Joy El Children's Choir and Pinoy (Filipino) kids of Beijing, and a Santa Claus giving out little presents to kids during the Children's Christmas Party, it's sure to be a busy event. Proceeds from the event will go to Daoidao Elementary School in northern Philippines.

Santa's going to be at IMC as well, bringing good cheer to all the children coming. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy mulled wine plus the free First Aid Training vouchers to encourage adults to start learning this important medical training. Soft drinks and finger food will be available as well.

The Third Annual Polish Club and Roundabout Charity Christmas Bazaar
With Santa being a really charitable guy, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he'd lend Roundabout another helping hand. He shows up once more at the Polish Club and Roundabout Charity Christmas Bazaar, where you'll find hand-crafted gifts including jewellery and Polish amber, cashmere and hand-made toys, household furnishings and cosmetics, as well as Christmas decorations for the home and beautifully-designed chocolates and cakes. There will be warm drinks such as mulled wine, hot chocolate, hot milk and more, and food ranging from barbecued Polish sausages and traditional Polish snacks and fruit liquors, to genuine Kamchatka caviar and German dishes. And of course, Santa too!
British School of Beijing, Shunyi
Enjoy the sights and flavours commonly seen in a traditional German Christmas market with an outdoor traditional wooden hut. Keep warm with German delicacies including wurst, pretzels, waffles, hot chocolate and gluhwein. Indulge in the music brought to you by the school choirs and watch as the Christmas tree lights up to add colour to the already festive feel. Make sure to watch out for the unique variety of Christmas items and decorations on sale and the games and activities run by the school's staff and students. Last but not least is Santa, looking forward to bringing smiles to children's lips at this special event.
