它分布在海拔更高的地方，因此当低处的巧玲花开完后，它在高处紧接着绽放粉红色的花朵。它的香味更加清幽，而不似巧玲花那么浓烈。丁香的叶子一般都是心形的，而它却是卵圆形的，很容易就能辨别。2015年6月27日Solarfe摄于河北涞源东甸子梁。
