课程简介

 

课程旨在让学生对于圣经中的重要篇章有深入了解。课堂选读的内容包括：《创世记》、《出埃及记》、《士师记》、《撒母耳上》、《约伯记》、《路德记》、《约拿书》、以及《马可福音》和《约翰福音》的全部内容，最后介绍英文钦定本圣经的翻译和特点。讲课过程中，将介绍近现代圣经研究的主要方法和研究结果。课堂使用的圣经注本为The New Oxford Annotated Bible。

课程大纲

第一周    引言。基础知识

       阅读：Collins, Introduction to the Hebrew Bible, ”Introduction”.

第二周    创世和造人、古代近东神话

阅读：《创世记》（Genesis）1-3章；Collins, Introduction, chapters 1 and 2.

第三周    挪亚、亚伯拉罕

阅读：《创世记》第 6-9章；11-25章；Collins, Introduction第3章。

第四周    雅各与约瑟（Genesis）

阅读：《创世记》第26-33章；第37-50章; Collins, Introduction, chapter 4;

James Kugel, The Ladder of Jacob: Ancient Interpretation of the Biblical Story of Jacob and His Children (Princeton UP, 2006);

第五周    《出埃及记》与摩西

阅读：Exodus 1-19; Collins, Introduction第5章；

米耶斯，《《出埃及记》释义》（华东师范大学出版社，2009年）。

 第六周    “约”的概念、律法、《申命记》

       阅读：Exodus, 20-23; 选读Deuteronomy，包括宗教祭祀：6:4-7:11; 12:1-5; 12:29-31; 13; 18:9-19。社会关怀：15:1-18（豁免，奴隶）；24：14-22（穷人）。Festivals: 16:1-17。司法：16: 18-20; 17:8-13; 19:15-21。立王：17:14-19。战争：20: 10-18; 21:10-14。Collins, Introduction, chapters 5 and 8 (163-177).

第七周 征服迦南、古代以色列人的起源

阅读：《约书亚记》（Joshua），选读第1-6章（攻占Jericho），7-8章（攻占Ai），9-10章（击溃五王），11章（毁Hazor），23-24章（临终遗言）；Collins, Introduction第9章（203-207页“The Tribes”一节可以不读）。
